Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.
An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.
You are awake.
You can move.

It takes him a bit longer because he has a lot of tomatoes to sort through in that box... but he eventually finds his clothing and the other things that came with him. After changing into clothes that are thankfully not stained with tomato juice, he sorts the rest of the items and makes his way back down...
...all those flights of stairs.
When he's back in the cafeteria, he's red from all that stairclimbing and a little out of breath, but he's in decent clothes! Pink shirt and tan pants, black shoes, everything clean. He's also a little surprised Spain's still there.
"Si-singora, sorry that took so long."

Someone here doesn't know how to cook apparently.
Before she can throw her oatmeal, Romano returns, wearing something nicer than white. "Oh, You didn't take long, don't worry."

"Oh, that's good...Spagna." It felt weird calling this woman something he'd reserved only for a certain idiota, but on some strange level, it also felt... right? She was certainly a breath of fresh air, though, that's for sure.
Though he still hadn't seen his Spain around, which worried him. N-not like he cared about the moron or anything.

He stirred the cereal in his bowl, looking at the now-mushy bits with slight disgust. It was no one's fault but his own but... it still sucked.
And yet, instead of eating it before it got more mushy, he lifted his head back up to speak to Spain again. "S-So this world you're from. Where I'm-- ah, I mean, Romana, is a woman. What's it like?"

"It's like a normal world." She continued to play with her oatmeal, her smile fond. "Roma Antigua raised us, I had my empire and my children, World Wars, civil wars... It's normal, for me."

Just...one bite.
He didn't even think there could be anything wrong with it, like, oh, poison.

She drew lazy shapes in her oatmeal, pushing the bowl aside when she couldn't take the taste anymore. Leaning over to Romano, she glances at his bowl. "Does your cereal taste better?"

His spoon fell into the bowl with a little clank and with one hand he clutched at his stomach and the other at his mouth. Shit shit shit why the hell was he getting sick all of the sudden?!
