Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.

23:45:00
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.

An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.

You are awake.

Form of dressing? Dawn looked down at herself. She was similarly dressed. ... Did this mean that the people who kidnapped them stripped them naked and put these strange clothes on them? Suddenly this became much more disturbing. Dawn tried to smile, though.

"It is, isn't it? I'm sure there's some clothes sitting around here, but perhaps we should find out where we are first."

A rustle distracted Spain when she sits back down on the bed, glancing at the letter placed by her pillow. Picking it up, she took a quick glance through it, dropping it with a gasp.

"Our world. .. has been destroyed..."

"P-Pardon?" Dawn says this almost immediately. She wasn't sure she heard the girl right.. because what she said was impossible. That was for sure.

"The world can't be destroyed," Spain continues, not hearing what Dawn has said earlier. "If it was, I wouldn't be here."

"What.. do you mean?" Dawn asked, her voice small and distant. She wasn't sure if the girl would even be able to hear her question. What a peculiar thing to say, she thought. Still, it did make sense, in a way. If their worlds had been destroyed, why were they here, and not destroyed along with their world?

"They say the world has been destroyed, but it does not make sense," Spain explains, glancing up at Dawn. "If it was destroyed, I would not be here, because I am a country."
