[ So the restaurant is one floor below the art gallery. One could see some art and go get dinner! It's almost cute that the Tower has been set up like that. Sakuya will be leading Battler with much incentive and determination and asking the host if they have any tea. Which they do! Only then will she allow the host to lead the two to a table that they may then sit down. Once they're settled, Sakuya will fold her hands together and give a polite smile. ] ...It's almost baffling to think that a grown man such as yourself has never had tea before.

In any case, he moves to sit down as well, looking around at everything with amusement. He shouldn't be doing this, but he's distracted by trying to feel.... well, normal for once. [ It's not so much as forwardness but more like... it's just so surprising that she has to do something about it. She quirks an eyebrow at his comment. If she has to guess, he is between 18 to 27 or something. That might not be a long time in terms of the other beings she's met in Gensokyo, but it's still plenty to time to have had tried tea before! So she has to ask-- ] Mm...? What do you mean by that?


[ And she nods at his request. ] Yes?

Is... that so? [ Taking a spoon of the tea leaves, she places some into her gloved palm, and then rubs it between two fingers, testing its quality. ] Mm, I can see how you may be young after all.

It's just that, well, he seemed rather more like a gentleman up until now, so it is certainly unexpected. ] Metallic means the quality has been too handled. Sometimes to counter this one uses utensils and jars to store that are made of a more earthy substance to process and store the leaves. I must let the leaves sit in this pot for about four to five minutes; afterwards, I may pour you a cup.

Huhhahaha! Exactly, exactly! Don't wait too long but don't rush in....! It makes for the most satisfying of situations!

[ Oh, he's laughing! She smiles back. ] Ah...! Speaking of which, I believe it is ready. [ POURS THE TEA! Him first, her second. ] Now, you can have a variety of things to add to your tea. Sugar, cream, lemon, mint, peppermint, spices-- but if you wish to have lemon you cannot use any dairy, or it will curdle.

[He just stares at the tea as she pours it, reaching out to pull the cup towards him. He stares at the liquid... noting that it's hot before he raises it to his lips, taking a sip. He takes in the soothing liquid, it's always so different actually taste something since he never does need to eat.

Hm, he likes it. He nods.]

....I approve, you sure know how to please.

[ Boi, she prides herself on being the ~perfect maido~. ] I am glad you enjoy it, Sir.

[ And she take a sip of her own. In her opinion, the quality of this tea is rather sub-par. But hey, if he likes it, that definitely makes her happy! ] Hopefully you will have many more instances to enjoy tea in your future, whether alone or with someone else.
