Summary: So Baddler never had tea before...

[ So the restaurant is one floor below the art gallery. One could see some art and go get dinner! It's almost cute that the Tower has been set up like that. Sakuya will be leading Battler with much incentive and determination and asking the host if they have any tea. Which they do! Only then will she allow the host to lead the two to a table that they may then sit down. Once they're settled, Sakuya will fold her hands together and give a polite smile. ] ...It's almost baffling to think that a grown man such as yourself has never had tea before.

I'm not so sure myself, but... it's enough for them to seem like a whole different person... [ She smiles though. ] I suppose I will do what I can to help them.

Everyone seems to fall to corruption sooner or later, helping them might not do much. A wasted effort....

[ A solemn nod, and then-- ] Ah-- I just realized I didn't introduce myself! [ Flails just a bit because oh wow how rude of her. ] I am Sakuya Izayoi.

Hmm.... I see, I'll remember that, Sakuya.

I don't exactly have a name besides what my counterpart is named... who I was created after. It's Battler, ah but someone else called me Kuro.... perhaps that will work...

[ Kuro just is. Uh. Black. So-- ] I think it might be simpler to refer to you as Mr. Battler-- but it would depend on how comfortable you are with that.

[justiceerror]

[BECAUSE HE'S BLACK BATTLER

He looks down at his teacup, bringing a hand to it he places a finger along the rim, circling it.]

....That could work, don't regret it when you meet the other Battler and there's possible confusion. [he's smiling but there's some strain in his voice. He hates the fact that he's just a mere shadow of Battler, not a real person....]

It... can't be that strange, sharing a name with another person. I'm sure I could tell the difference. [ ... ] It'd be like sharing the same birthday with another.

Those people were created to look like the original though.

Mm... Then in terms of taking care of the two-- same size clothes, same shoe size, and you wouldn't have to take two separate measurements when sewing suits or dresses...

[ Whoops was he talking about something else-- ]

We look exactly the same as well.

....[ o... k. She's beginning to get the picture here, especially with what he mentioned before. ] But-- does he like killing as much as you, then? [ Beat. More importantly-- ] Do tell if he's had tea before.

[He sighs.]

Of course not... he's.... the good one. I was created to act as the culprit, since he would never do something like kill his entire family.... I just....

[he pauses for a moment.] I wish to become 'me' ....someone that isn't.... just a shadow of someone else. My own... person...Aah but that won't happen, no no.... I'm destined to be this way, don't you see...? Huahahaha...!

[and after he's had a good laugh and calmed down a bit.] ..Of course he's had tea, he's the human here. How I want to rip his face off....

[ For a moment she's silent, taking in what he says. She can understand that he's clearly troubled, but at the same time she does wonder why he's so easily telling her all of this. ] You're a very honest person for sharing this with me. I don't think that makes you bad at all, Mr. Battler. Not all of use can admit something like that so freely... [ She sure as hell wouldn't admit to having killed or enjoying it. ] So--

[ She smiles warmly. ] I think you can find your own purpose, if you continue to be as honest with yourself as you are with a stranger like me.

[justiceerror]

Hm.... honesty?

[he never rally gave it much thought.]

I was made out to be a pretty good liar... but you're right, I suppose I am being honest here.

[red_tea]

You just have to find out what you're good at and what really makes you happy, I believe. I didn't know I'd like being a maid until I actually had to be one.

[justiceerror]

Why did you have to be one in the first place? I wonder.

[red_tea]

Ah- well.... that's a long story. [ She shifts in her seat. WHOOPS AVOIDING INTERROGATION NOW. ]

I'm... sorry. I suppose I just don't talk as freely about myself as you.

Hmm.... it's alright, I can hear it in time. [he does want to hear it eventually.]

[ "In time" huh. Well she's not quite sure how comfortable she is with that statement because she would have to trust him a lot more... ] I suppose it will give us a reason to speak again, yes.
