so come on and give me your worst
Character: Vriska and you
Setting: Room 3-01 and then all around the tower
Format: I'll match you!
Summary: Vriska's just arrived and she's Upset. So she's going to go exploring to see what this place is all about.
Warnings: Language, Vriska is her own warning
[She didn't remember falling asleep. She'd been talking to John and Tavros, catching the alpha John up on what was going down with Lord English. Someone had been approaching, the Peixes look a like, she was pretty sure. So how had she ended up in this stark room unable to move? Nothing about it felt like a dream bubble, and she'd seen her fair share of people's memories and none had ever looked like this. It was no sooner that the paralysis wore off that she had scrambled off the human sleeping square and began looking around the room. Four beds. A communal respiteblock? She hadn't signed up for this crap. The notes caught her attention next, and she sat down to read them. Wow, if that wasn't the most useless information she'd ever read. How far behind were they? Alternia being gone was old news. This was stupid.]
---
[There was no point in wasting time, so Vriska had left her room as quickly as she could to go exploring. It was a new place, and nothing she was familiar with which didn't sit well with her. She was usually the one with all the knowledge and information. All of it. And all she knew about this place was that it apparently ran on bullshit if the letters were anything to go by. She was apparently supposed to go to the cafeteria and eat oatmeal, but that was the last thing she had in mind to do. Judging from the amount of stairs she'd already climbed she had a lot of ground to cover before she needed to worry about eating something. She's alert and on the lookout for anything suspicious, or even other people. If the placards on the rooms were anything to go by, this place was full of other people, like a hivestem? She'd hit up one of the terminals she'd seen later once she'd done some reconnaissance and gotten a proper feel for this place. Vriska Serket didn't do unprepared.]

Gamzee sniffles, heading down to the cafeteria despite knowing he won't find anything good there. It might have been a good idea to try and stay away from people just in case whatever he has is contagious, but he doesn't care enough to hole up in his room for their sake.
At the sight of a familiar figure in the hall, he stops for just a moment and debates greeting her... but ultimately decides not to. He's not sure it's worth it at this point.]

Hey! Human. Do you live here?
no subject
I take up fuckin' forced residence here, same as every other motherfucker, if that's what all meaning you're aimed at.
[One of these days he'll have to attempt to sound less like himself.]

Feferi's still sporting her Derse pajamas because hey, they're warmer, but she is very much alive and all right.]
I don't know if it's betta to say whalecome to the Tower or whalecome to hell, so I'll say both.

Hey Peixes. What's with the pjs?

Regardless, his smile is genuine when he approached his old friend. ]
Hey, you're back! Not sure if that's a good thing, but ... welcome back?

What the hell are you going on about, Tavros?

So, uh, this tower is an awful place and we're kind of trapped in here. Sometimes we have games or experiments, they are awful as well and we end up dead most of the time. You've been here before, but then you disappeared for a couple of months and now ... you're back. Unfortunately.

Dave had glanced slightly at Vriska, but made no attempt to even say anything to her.]
fancy seeing you here
Hey. Pyrope's human. You're a sight for sore eyes. If you looked any more pathetic I might actually pity you.
Hi Im late. WOOPS
You actually still calling me that? Jesus Christ. [It was weird. He hadn't seen Terezi in so long, it was odd to be referred to her human.] You here just to make fun of me?
media room
Figures you haven't gotten hit with this bullshit human sickness.

I haven't been here long enough to get sick, Ampora. Didn't you hear? I've only just arrived. You're looking deplorable as usual.

stairs because why not
[Someone, however, seemed to be in a great hurry, and he looked up a little too late from wiping his nose to avoid barreling his bony self into them. Fortunately, he managed to claw at anything readily available to keep his balance.]
Fuckin' tits!!! Would you motherfuckin' look out all where the fuck you be placin' them--
[His voice cut out.]
[She was back.]
[Despite feeling under the weather, he reacted immediately. There was no time to waste when dealing with this bitch. He stiffened, placing a foot on the step behind him for better leverage, and narrowing his eyes. He took note of her posture, her expression. If he failed to notice a single move she made, it could mean life or death.]
good she can shove him down them ;o
Well, if it isn't everyone's favorite clown. You didn't get enough of me with your stupid sprite hijinks?
god i missed her

[If Vriska were to look to her other side, she would find a somewhat familiar face. Familiar in the fact that it was Karkat, but very clearly not Karkat. Karkat if he were also somehow Vriska. His arms are folded a little lazily, hip cocked to one side and a soft stare of exhaustion mixed with a hint of pity.]
Not that you'd remember.
[He doesn't appear to be in a hurry to approach her. He's clearly cold, as his limbs shake a little in the crisp air of the tower every now and then, but unlike everyone else, it seems he's managed to avoid the plague floating around.]

First of all, Vantas, your pan must be rotting because I've never seen this place before so I can't be "back". [In enclosure talons and everything.] Second, what's with the eye? Did you envy me so much that you wanted to be me? No offense, but it really doesn't suit you.

[He grins, then, because he knows that color, but he doesn't know that troll, so there's really only one explanation. If Vriska had the chance to see him, he'd promptly disperse like a cloud, and she would find herself rustled by a slight breeze before he appears right the fuck behind her.]
Boo.

John, is this really any time for you to be screwing around with the windy thing? There's shenanigans afoot and there's reconnaissance to be done. Tell me you've at least done some exploring in a place that trollnapped you.
