so come on and give me your worst
Character: Vriska and you
Setting: Room 3-01 and then all around the tower
Format: I'll match you!
Summary: Vriska's just arrived and she's Upset. So she's going to go exploring to see what this place is all about.
Warnings: Language, Vriska is her own warning
[She didn't remember falling asleep. She'd been talking to John and Tavros, catching the alpha John up on what was going down with Lord English. Someone had been approaching, the Peixes look a like, she was pretty sure. So how had she ended up in this stark room unable to move? Nothing about it felt like a dream bubble, and she'd seen her fair share of people's memories and none had ever looked like this. It was no sooner that the paralysis wore off that she had scrambled off the human sleeping square and began looking around the room. Four beds. A communal respiteblock? She hadn't signed up for this crap. The notes caught her attention next, and she sat down to read them. Wow, if that wasn't the most useless information she'd ever read. How far behind were they? Alternia being gone was old news. This was stupid.]
---
[There was no point in wasting time, so Vriska had left her room as quickly as she could to go exploring. It was a new place, and nothing she was familiar with which didn't sit well with her. She was usually the one with all the knowledge and information. All of it. And all she knew about this place was that it apparently ran on bullshit if the letters were anything to go by. She was apparently supposed to go to the cafeteria and eat oatmeal, but that was the last thing she had in mind to do. Judging from the amount of stairs she'd already climbed she had a lot of ground to cover before she needed to worry about eating something. She's alert and on the lookout for anything suspicious, or even other people. If the placards on the rooms were anything to go by, this place was full of other people, like a hivestem? She'd hit up one of the terminals she'd seen later once she'd done some reconnaissance and gotten a proper feel for this place. Vriska Serket didn't do unprepared.]

[He smirks.]
Just a cute girl passing by. Nice horns, by the way.

Flattery will get you no where! But it sounds like you've got a good eye for things. Thanks. Soooooooo, tell me, have you been here long?

[He taps his own.]
The ones with red or clear liquid are the drones. You don't wanna talk to them because they never say anything useful. Once a month, the admins like to pulls shit that they call experiments on us. Right now, I think it might be this cold weather, but it could easily turn into something worse.

[She runs her fingers along her collar, leaning back on her heels.]
But yeah, I noticed the collar. They got my color wrong. So tell me more about these experiments. If they're as weak as a little cold weather, then I'm not worried. I'm used to this kind of temperature.

[He ended up with arms and legs temporarily paralyzed for his trouble.]
September was a Jason month. He switched our bodies and there were...some nasty side effects. Next month was Ruana and she put us in crazy costumes and made us gather candy. If we didn't have enough we died. Then November was a Dax month and everyone's languages got fucked up. This is the second Jason month I've seen and he probably has nasty shit planned out because he's the biggest asshole in the Tower.

[He's not sure what they really are.]

Not everything that looks human is human, little lass. And are you trolls know for you hardiness?
no subject
[She shrugs, smirking.] Yeah, we're definitely a lot more resilient than humans. Trolls that aren't resilient enough are culled, and only the strong survive. It's pretty simple.

Aren't you the confident troll? But I'll tell you this--there's a lot of us here who look human but aren't. And sometimes, we're stronger than humans too. Maybe we're irrelevant, but try not to provoke us.
[To emphasize his point, he lets his killing intent spill out. It's enough aggression to paralyze a regular human with fear.]

Is that a challenge?
