Characters: chaos and anyone he meets.
Setting: He’s wandering the tower, so anywhere.
Format: Action, then will match whatever format you prefer.
Summary: chaos woke up in a strange place, only to find out his world has been destroyed and he’s the only survivor. While his world’s end was to be expected, he’s shocked. He is going to try finding out whether or not what he’s been said is true, and he’s also gonna try getting acquainted to the residents.
Warnings: None.

[ chaos had explored the tower for a while now, carefully avoiding to speak with any other peoples until he knew more about the situation; he had been informed his world had been destroyed, but that just didn’t do it for him until he had more information. It wasn’t too hard avoiding the peoples; he was reputed for nearly being invisible in his world so he was discreet. From what he could say, they all looked like they came from different civilization and wore the same kind of necklace.

He continued to explore for a while, searching clue as to the truth, listening to conversations, reading what he could. ]

[ He sighed. Nothing around him appeared to answer his questions, he had many theories but none were really satisfying. So he decided to take a more straight-forward approach, and addressed the next person he passed by. His voice was low and calm, albeit he looked quite troubled, he was obviously new. ]

[Mary's head was ducked down, caught up in thought. She was barely aware of the reaction her own soul was having to Yeshua's appearance in the tower. It was when he said "Excuse me" that her train of thought shattered and she became completely aware.

She lifted her head slowly, her blue eyes finding his. Slowly, she reached out and ran her fingers through his hair, wordlessly. Personal space? No such thing.]

Yeshua.

[ chaos hadn’t recognized her as she was ducked down, not to mention he had not been long enough in the tower to even realize her presence, especially with the questions running in his head. To see her, the shock was double, not only to witness an actual survivor from his world, proving that what he had read was probably a lie, but… Mary. As herself no less, and not inside KOS-MOS’ body as she was last time he saw her.

He remained speechless for a couple seconds as he starred back into her eyes after she spoke, letting her do before briefly placing a hand on her cheek. ]

Mary…

I'm glad. I'm so glad to see you alive.

[Mary smiled peacefully, leaning into his hand against her cheek. It was him, she could feel the warmth from him, could see the faint rise and fall of his chest with each breath. He was really alive. And if he was alive, then that gave her a small semblance of hope that everyone else from their world was alive too.

Within the span of a few second, Mary threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.]

I haven't been able to do that in a long time.

[ He smiled and let her, then returned the hug, slowly wrapping his arms around her to hold her tenderly, close to him. He didn’t say a word for a while though, it was still very confusing to him, yes he had seen her as KOS-MOS before, but as herself… This was a whole new level. He had no doubt this was her, but this still was surrealist, like, a dream. ]

I’m so glad you are alive as well. I’m just glad you are here.

[ He pauses and slid his hand into her hair gently before staring back at her and smiling. ]

I didn’t think you could exist outside of KOS-MOS after… After ‘last time’.

A gift, it seems, from this tower. A soul can't be saved from a dying world and left a soul. It had to be contained by something.

[Mary smiled and leaned against his hand still, watching him.]

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to survive.

[ He nodded and smiled still. ]

I’m glad as well. Especially since the survivor is… you. I can’t think of anyone else I’d have been happier to see here.

[ He pauses for a while and hugs her tighter. ]

Have you been here for a long time?

[Mary smiles and returns the hug with just as much ferocity.]

I've been here couple of weeks now, actually. It's been rather lonely until now.

Then they probably lied. If the universe had been destroyed by then, I couldn’t have arrived just now…

[ He smiled and let her go a bit.]

You won’t be alone any more now.

I see that now. And if it had been, what reason would we have for existing?

[ He nods and thinks for a second ]

Indeed. I don’t know if we still could exist would the Collective Unconscious and U-DO have been erased. Our existence are linked to them

[ He looks at her ]

How has been your rest here so far? Have you been treated well?

I'm certain that we couldn't, were they gone. Not even this place can alter that fact.

[Mary smiles and nods, glancing around.]

This place is odd, and dangerous I've been told, but it's gone well so far. And the people I've met have been very kind.

[ He nods for the previous bits, and looks around as well. ]

I’m sure they are. Dangerous? Well, we should be advantaged thanks to our powers, I suppose, I don’t think anything here could harm us easily.

[Kanaya turns around]

May I help you?

[ He nods and smiles lightly. ]

Yes, I am new to this place, and I was wondering if… What I’ve got told upon arriving is true?

I am unsure of the answer. There is no way for us to be positive since we cannot get back home. Presently it depends on what you would like to believe. That most likely is not the answer you were searching for but it is the one I have to offer.

[ He nods slowly. ]

It is actually more than I expected. Thank you.

[ He smiles lightly. ]

I forgot to introduce myself, my name is chaos.

If you have any other questions I will try and answer them to the best of my abilities. My name is Kanaya, I'm sorry you had to be brought here as well.
