Characters: Luke fon Fabre and you!
Setting: Dorms (on the network, and in room 3-14), Meadow Floor
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Luke got the best gift ever for Christmas, and now it's time to show it off.
Warnings: Luke being a dork, possible violence.
[There's a very excited Luke on the screens on Christmas day, so happy and bright you can practically see the sun beams radiating off his face.]
Guys! You won't believe what I found in my trunk!
[At that declaration, he leans back a bit, easily hefting up a bastard sword and showing it off to the camera. Aw yeah, look who back in business! He swung it around a moment, before sliding it into the sheath on his back.]
I definitely need to train with it. I'll be on the meadow floor in an hour if you want to spar!
[A pause, before...]
Yu-sensei! You better be there! I need to show you what I can really do now that I've got a sword that fits me!
[Spoilers: it's not going to be much different from the usual.]
[Luke's not going to be answering his network post, but he is hanging around his dorm room for awhile, doing a few sets up push ups by his trunk for a bit, and then making sure his new sword is nice and sharp after that.]
[Once he's ready, he'll be heading up for the Meadow floor, and he can be found there, doing some practice swings to get used to the heavier weight. He's so itching for an opponent that it's painfully obvious.]

Albert style's a bit different from what I've seen other people using. I guess it focuses more on hitting hard.
[...well, mostly how he learned it.]

Show me this special attack you have. I wish to see it.

Uh... I dunno if I should. It doesn't always work, and my original will probably kill me if I accidentally blow up half the Tower...
[...assuming he survived.]

[She'd probably need to use Excalibur, but the noble phantasm can be in her hand in less than a moment's notice.]

[Excuse him while he boggles for a moment.]
NO WAY! That's way too dangerous! You could be killed!

You cannot kill me, Luke. It would be unwise to ever think you can. I am of the Saber Class. Now. Let me see it.

[There's still that whole thing where he can't always get it to work, and the fact that it's completely obliterated everything else has him really worried. He let out a worried noise, glancing around
nevermind that Asch was probably watching the whole thing without his knowledge, gnawing on his lip.]F-fine, but if it looks like you can't block it, you've gotta run for it!
[Luke let out a breath, shaking out his hands. Okay... now, just to do it like that one time on the boat, only the opposite of what Van told him to do. Just like when he helped break Yu out of that shield. He could... he could do this.]
[He held his hands up toward Saber, focusing on the tiny sounds around him; hearing them, sensing them, letting them come into his body and gather at his finger tips. As he concentrated, his hands, arms started glowing, that warmth spreading to engulf his entire body...]

She was ready.]

[But he was loosing control fast; he couldn't stop the intake, and as much as he tried, it wasn't just... blasting off, not like the last few times he had done this. Luke panicked, trying to force it back, but instead it exploded around him all at once, completely obliterating everything around him as it encroached on Saber.]

Arm wrapping about Luke's waist, she held him against her and spun with Excalibur extended into Vortigern. The enormous black and red blade pulsing with dark energy created something akin to a barrier of Saber's prana about them, absorbing the force of the explosion.
Oh, Saber felt it, but being of the Saber Class, she was naturally resistant to such things. Her concern was to protect Luke. Any cracks in her armor and her shattered visor were unimportant. Once the explosion died down, she retracted her noble phantasm and lowered the blade.]

...t-told you...
no subject
[Not really. She dismissed Excalibur and brought her other arm about him to hold him up. A moment later, she dismisses her armor, knowing the rough edges of it would be quite uncomfortable to anyone leaning against her.]

[...w-wow, that was exhausting; like some kind of cosmic deity was saying, "Don't ever do that for the hell of it again."]

[She rubbed his back some.]

[Luke grunted, taking a moment to try and stand on his own.]

[Luke made a face, looking away.]
THIRTY SECOND THREADJACK
It's only a moment of sharp pain; no words are expressed, just an intense feeling of loathing and disappointment. Yeah, Luke? Whatever strides you made over the last couple weeks with Asch, you're so totally in the trash heap right now.
The connection closes.]

[Luke held his head in pain, growling in irritation. Great, just great.]
Well... someone's pissed at me.
