Welcome back to hell...
Characters: Siira
speaks_dirty and OPEN
Setting: Room 1-09, 39th Floor Gymnasium, 3rd Floor Library
Format: Action
Summary: Siira’s back in the tower and not happy.
Warnings: Swearing, her mouth is rather foul.
Room 1-09
[Waking up from sleep paralysis was a thing she had almost forgotten about. Happily, forgotten about, she‘d add. Waking up in the tower was more welcome than she‘d thought it would be. The remaining screams of the dead Planet still ringing in her ears. She was furious and feeling sick. And when it finally wore off, those in the room would be welcomed to the sound of an enraged yet equally agonized scream.]
FUCK!
[She coughs and gasps, already working on yanking off the white suit somewhat erratically and not caring about who is seeing her strip down to get it off. It‘s too confining. She hates being confined. A fear she‘d had since she was a child. Coughing and breathing heavily, calming down quickly as she can, she yanks open her trunk to grab one of her suits. There’s less in it this time but that‘s fine. She‘s only disappointed in the lack of a hand gun and she doesn‘t need one. That‘s why she was called Fist Fighter or Martial Arts among the Turks.]
39th Floor Gymnasium
[It was cold but she didn’t care. She grew up in Icicle and spent a lot of time there during the Geostigma Outbreak up there. Stripping off the jacket of her suit, she shivered and went into a few martial arts movements, warming her body up and relieving some of her anger before she lost her temper with someone. It doesn’t help so she moved on to the weights, swearing as she discovered that they were unmarked.]
Screw it.
[She just grabs one of the nearest weights and swears again as she nearly dislocates her shoulder in trying to lift it. Not that one then. She searches again until she finds a few that are acceptable, setting them up on a bar bell and proceeding to lift weights until her rage has subsided, she’s covered in sweat,]
3rd Floor Library
[Pulling a pair of oval shaped glasses from the pocket of her suit, Siira look over the covers of several books until settling on one from Gaia, published by Bugenhagen no less. She had time to kill, let’s read.]

Gymnasium
Sephiroth headed over towards the weights from the mats where he'd been stretching out. He didn't even cast much more than a glance over the girl that was apparently using the next piece of equipment he usually went to but went straight to retrieve his coat. Straps that usually crossed his chest were loose hanging just above knee-length; the belt itself worked wonders as an additional support considering so many of these weights were more than what they looked. Long silver hair was loosely half braided together at the back - purely to keep it out of the way.]
Re: Gymnasium
And when she finished that set and put the bar up for a breather she saw silver. Freezing in her spot, one arm hold her up and not sitting all the way up just yet, she first thought it was a Remnant. One of them had been there last time she was in the tower but then she really looked.
Sephiroth.
Anger boiled up in her but she held her temper back. How she did was a miracle, had Gun or Tseng or any of the others been here, she's sure she's have to be one of the people holding them back after what happened with Elena.
No no no no no no no.
Reno had threatened her last time, not to mention anything to him. That he'd stick her in Pyramid until she starved if she went after him. And she'd avoided him fairly well last time but apparently had run out since returning to the Planet.]
Re: Gymnasium
He caught her gaze again. She was staring at him so strangely, was that recognition? Sephiroth had never laid eyes on this one ever before so he couldn't think why. He shot a 'your staring at me' glare at her before going back to testing each dumbbell - knowing well how they weren't necessarily stacked up in order, nor were the light ones necessarily the smallest.]
Re: Gymnasium
For now though, she averted her eyes. If he wasn't saying anything yet, neither was she. Grabbing the jacket for her suit and pulling it on, she went to put the weights she had used away, her arms already burning enough that she needed to move onto something else. And there were machines nearby for her legs, despite how much walking she'd done on Gaia when she had been back there. All the while sparing glances towards the ex-SOLDIER, attempting to go unnoticed.]
Re: Gymnasium
Of course he'd noticed the suit jacket she'd pulled back on and thought only that it was a little strange that someone would come to the gym with a suit jacket in the first place. Sure, Turks wore suits but not everyone was a Turk. As he came to end of his first set and placed the weights down on either side of him, Sephiroth couldn't shift the fact that he knew, for some reason that this stranger kept looking over at him.
He took the opportunity to say something. It's not that he minded anyone watching him, but in this case he felt that there was much more to it]
Some of the equipment is tricky here, best that you watch what you're doing.
Re: Gymnasium
Setting the weights down and standing upright, stretching a bit and pushing her hair behind her, she turned towards him and gave a faint grin.]
Yeah. I noticed a little while ago almost yanked my shoulder out of its socket.
Re: Gymnasium
Hmph.
[Then she should have checked out the equipment first. He has no sympathy. Sephiroth crouched to pick up the weights again and stood there, counting down in his head to for a few seconds before starting his second set.]
Re: Gymnasium
[So much for that. Then again, maybe he'd always been like that. It wasn't like Siira had ever made an effort to talk to him. She hadn't even joined any of the fanclubs that had been around back in ShinRa's 'golden days.'
Going back to grab a different set of weights, hoping they were the right ones this time, she set them on the machine and settled into place to lift. The months she spent running and walking on what was left on Gaia had kept her legs muscled enough that it wasn't hard getting into this type of exercise.]
Re: Gymnasium
But why would she make such a comment if she didn't know him. Careful not to pre-judge before he'd established facts, Sephiroth worded his response.]
How would you know? From Gaia?
Gymnasium
[Bite on that, General. Oh, she never could stop getting a laugh out of all the people that flocked to those fanclubs. And she wasn't going to make any effort to help him remember who she was. Anonymity felt safe right now.]
Gymnasium
Regarding the fanclub though, she might as well be from another planet. Sephiroth's memories fall short, as a quizzical look crosses his features. Could it have been likely to have gone on without his knowledge?]
What fanclub?
Gymnasium
All the First Class SOLDIER's had a fanclub formed for them. It was the biggest thing in Midgar for awhile.
Gymnasium
He didn't remember it, but it sounded like a memory he wouldn't miss. That doesn't mean he'd dismiss it as having never happened though, this girl had said she was from Gaia after all. He'd given up most of everything that he was before - it's not like he had much of a choice with the Lifestream in such an active state when he joined it, but perhaps this was a fine example of a reason why some things were best forgotten about.]
I see. Well, of course it would have been.
[Somethings don't change, that smirk for example. Though it's somewhat more sinister than back then.]
Re: Gymnasium
Of course.
[She can't quite keep the sass from her voice, try as she might to be civil. Half of her would have expected something similar to Nibleheim at this point.]
Re: Gymnasium
lack ofsocial leanings. Due to this the sass doesn't really register much with Sephiroth either.]So what were you doing in Midgar?
[He's playing civil too. It was a charged question though.]
Re: Gymnasium
Working. There really weren't a lot of opportunities up in Icicle, yanno?
Re: Gymnasium
He'd never understand what had went wrong in that moment. He'd tasted victory for the second time only to have it stripped from him. In the moments of silence here in the gym, the smirk dropped into a scowl.]
Maybe you should have stayed at home.
Re: Gymnasium
Should have but it's a little late for that. And I found a better opportunity eventually.
[Running a bar in Junon with her friends, just under the nose of ShinRa while still close enough to keep in touch with Veld and spy.]
Re: Gymnasium
[He refered to the Planet of course with the disgust brought on by the fact that it wasn't his destruction. Something had stolen that right from him.]
Unless this really all is an extensive illusion.
no subject
[That was her thought anyway. And now she was becoming visibly disturbed because there's no way that she's safe around a Sephiroth that wanted to destroy the Planet. Oh, summons, she shouldn't have come to work out today. Maybe she'd request a weight set from the admins, just for her room.
No! She was
an ex-Turka Turk. Siira would not back away from this like a scared little kid.]no subject
[Of course. ShinRa had wrapped him in such an illusion for a very long time, he'd eventually found the cracks and exploited them. He was good at creating his own illusions as well, such as carrying Jenova's body throughout the whole world while having it carry his own image without even being close. Therefore it had to be a very complex illusion here in the Tower, to keep the cracks from him so well. Though the admins here did have control over him both physically and mentally, who knew to what extent - something hard for anyone to think to overcome.
It's a good job he hasn't figured you a Turk yet, Siira.]
So how long have you been here?
no subject
[ShinRa had other problems besides just Sephiroth but he was definitely the biggest one. Of course, he had become more than just ShinRa's problem though, he was all of Gaia's.]
Got back only today but I was here six months ago for about a month. Back then, there was no power and no food in the tower.
[She almost blew her cover back then, too, by growing a bunch of mung beans.]
What about you?
no subject
I'm sure they have, and I'm sure they have their reasons for not doing something about it.
[It's a circle really. You only learn things through listening to others, but those things may be tainted by fear, bias, ulterior motives etc. With no way to verify, how can one obtain the truth.]
I believe this is my fourth month here, not that there is anyway to tell, mind. Other than the shifts of the administration.
no subject
Maybe they believe it or lack hope.
[Or they're too simple. The administrators are incredibly skilled at their craft as well.]
That's probably the easiest way to determine time here, by changes in management.
no subject
[They could go on listing the types of people that would just accept rather than question. After all, not everyone could be a superior being.
Sephiroth only nodded at Siira's addition to his comment about the way to tell time here. There wasn't much else to say on the fact, so, crouching once more he went back to the weights.]
