This is really all just crap timing, ain't it.
Characters: The Psiioniic and yoouuuu.
Setting: Dormitory floor 4, and floor three, but if you want to run into him as he wanders, feel free!
Format: Either is good with me, but all the set up will be in brackets.
Summary: The Psiioniic is new, confused, and a little lost.
Warnings: Nothing at the moment!
[floor four]
[WELL. This is certainly not what he expected to wake up to. An odd room, some letters that make very little sense, a chest... There were squishy platforms for the others sharing the room with him, but nobody's there as he ventures out into the tower. Or, well, he doesn't notice anyone as he begins his journey.]
[floor three/the library]
[He's found books. Books are useful, even if he's never owned one. (So he might look way too fascinated by everything, but cut him some slack.) He's going through and picking out books from each section, staring intently at the covers as he goes through. He puts some back, but the rest float behind him, surrounding in a light that flashes between red and blue.]

Dormitory floor
Guess what? Upon waking up this morning, Sesshomaru was subjected to all three sure ways to piss off a daiyoukai. At the same time. Shortly after melting the letters with a judicious use of poison, he'd found his clothes and stalked out of the room, in search of those responsible for this nonsense. So by the time Psii gets out of the room, there's a very white and fluffy dog demon growling quietly at a computer terminal, squinting at it somewhat viciously. The fluffy pelt-like thing over his shoulders seems to be twitching ever so slightly, too.]

He's not sure how to talk to the man. He has an authoritative air, and he's obviously irritated. Maybe Psii shouldn't talk to him. But then the fluff twitches again, and he can't help it.]
Do you need help...?

He looks behind him for a moment, before turning to Aleph.]
They are...[uh. how does he explain this.] A thideffect of my abilitieth?
no subject
[Judging by the floating books, it isn't too hard a guess. Aleph leans a little closer over the back of his chair.]
no subject
I believe tho?

My mutant brain.
[It's true, and he really doesn't know any other way to describe it.]
It'th thome thtupid ability common for my cathte.
no subject
It's not a stupid ability! That's actually pretty cool! Things like that only exist in stories back in my universe, so things like this are pretty amazing, even now.

For a moment his face had softened, though he didn't smile. But then he remembered where he was, and that the odds of this Psiioniic being his Psi were very low indeed. That just like the Signless that had come here weeks after his roommates had disappeared he would not know him, and indeed be wondering why some alien was talking to him as if they were acquainted.] I apologise.
no subject
Why are you?
[It's obvious he doesn't recognize Suzaku, but he doesn't want to just flat out ask how he knows his name.]
no subject
Why am I apologising? [Suzaku shrugged and looked down] I guess you are new? I was apologising for causing you undue confusion. [Very formal, trying to distance himself.]
no subject
He nods, trying to figure up what, exactly, is going on with this person, but he's never been good at reading body language.]
I am new, thir. [He scratches at the back of his head.] I really don't think that you've confuthed me more then I was to begin with.
[He'll get confused when he learns about a version of himself being there, though.]

Oh my glub, I missed you, Sollux --
[Whoops. Incoming hug. She really needs to learn to look at the person, not their shadow.]
no subject
After the initial wave of panic passes, he finally looks at who, exactly, is grabbing his person. He doesn't like what he sees all that much.
A seadweller. Oh god.
The panic is back and he goes stiff in Feferi's arms, glancing around for any sort of escape. She seems young, but that doesn't mean she's not vicious, that she won't punish a lowblood or that she won't try to enslave him again and that is the opposite of what he wants and why is she touching him he's going to die.
His life is over.
He is gone.]
Mith?
no subject
[...letting go would probably go a long way towards helping things, wouldn't it? Yeah, it probably would. Feferi holds her hands up, a sheepish expression on her face, as she takes a few steps back.]
-- I'm reely sorry about that.

His concentration is broken for the moment as the movement of another draws it. He turns to glance in the direction of the disturbance and at the sight of the other...he is stunned. Slowly the older troll advances towards the other, quietly. He does not wish to startle him and besides maybe this was just another trick that the city was playing on him.]
no subject
He puts most of the books back, only one floating back to join the others behind him.]

I never knew that you had such a well fined curiosity in reading, my old friend.
[He spoke to break the silence, but he found only silence followed as he held his breath, waiting for a response.]
