Summary: Having his version of magical anemia sucks.

Floor 4
[This floor could have been nice for any visitors.

Except for the dead looking body lying on the floor. Not too long ago, Satsujinki collapsed here and, unfortunately for him, he can't move. It's almost as if his body had been drained of energy. The only sign that he's alive is that he's still breathing and, if one gets close enough to tell, his teeth are clenched together in frustration.

Suffering from 'Chronic Vertigo Anemia' frequently caused him to collapse as a kid. It only got worse as he got older. It lasts longer and is quite a bit more severe now than it used to be.

Maybe...just barely, he might be able to talk. Just enough to refuse assistance, even though he needs it.]



Hallways
[At some point, he was able to wave off assistance and is attempting to make it back to his own dorm alone. Being a little handicapped by his lack of sight, he still tried to make the walk, using the wall as a support.

It's not a pretty sight but his expression for anyone who approaches is certainly unwelcoming. He's been living alone for a few years and had to deal with this fairly frequently. As far as he's concerned, he can still deal with it himself.]

I'll be dead in a few years. I don't even know when. 'Soon' is the closest I can get.

Dead...

[ She wants to be hopeful. There's plenty of people here from different worlds and with Sion around as well, they can figure something out. Instead of comforting him that way, she tells him news no one that's dying wants to hear. ]

I don't think people can die here. A lot of us suffocated back in October, but we were brought back.

That's probably worse, Satsuki.

[He expects to go psycho before he dies. What if he would be stuck like that forever, constantly coming back? Shiki doesn't even want to imagine about that.]

[ Then she will do everything in her power to help him. Because that's what friends will do. ]

I don't want to think of you as--[ Ding! ]

[ The doors open and she's back to being silent. At least until they're somewhere private like her bedroom. There's a bed that looks as though it's been untouched for a while. Three ladies to a four occupant room meant that the fourth one could be for a guest if they ever had one. ]

I know it might be more convenient to you for me to like someone like Tohno-kun and I do think he's a nice person, he just...

[ Never notices her around. Forgets her name all the time. Can't look her in the face. Has like six other love interests. ]

... He's normal.

[What kind of...what? Oh well....]

So despite all of that, you're saying you like your own killer and not the guy with the glasses?

You thought about me on Christmas.

[ Doesn't that answer him better than anything else? Placing him on top of the bed is no easy feat (she's strong, but it isn't as though this is something she does often), but she manages well enough. ]

I think about you both, but it's strange. Then there's the other Tohno-kun...

[ She doesn't look too thrilled when she says that. ]

[It almost feels awkward. But not quite. But he knows how dumb he himself can be.]

[ He didn't catch on due to her being vague, but she thinks that might be a good thing. ]

Don't suggest I let him hurt me. [ With a frown, she adds on: ] Because he was really concerned when I got in that fight.

That's a little depressing to hear but...

...I'm a little glad.

[yumizuka]

You are? I thought you would be mad at me for getting in between a fight.

[ Oh! ] I met the person that was hurting Tohno-kun and put a stop to it.

[ At least for that day. ]

That's not it. I should probably be a little more clear. I'm glad it's you. [That still likes him]

For some reason, it feels good.

Really?

M-Me? You're glad it's me? [ Good job making her default back to stammering mode. ]

I'm glad too.

[ Maybe it just takes a little knife to the heart before someone can truly appreciate someone. ]

That it feels good. It'd be unsettling otherwise.

[He waves Satsuki over to be a little closer. No need to be scared this time since he can barely move.]

[yumizuka]

[ This time she does feel comfortable enough to draw in towards him. ]

Is it cozy? I could get you another pillow or blanket if you want.

It's fine. Just hold still for a second.

[Reaching out...to find her head WHERE IS IT]

[yumizuka]

[ That's her cheek and nose. Thankfully he missed her eyes. ]

Still enough?

...yeah, he feels like he owes her slightly. Since it's all zeroed in for him, he uses what energy he has to lean over and give her a kiss on the forehead.]

[yumizuka]

[ That's a tiny squeak of excitement from her. ]

T-Thank you for being such a good friend! [ So she has to mess it up by saying something stupid. ]

[He'd laugh but that's be difficult. After all that, she's still somehow being a bum.

Instead, he just flops back in the bed.]
