Characters: Miles Edgeworth and you!
Setting: Dorms or Floors 48 or 47!
Format: Prose but will match!
Summary: Miles Edgeworth and you!
Warnings: Does being in one of those horrible white bodysuits count?
Room 4-16
[To say this is ‘Not Miles Edgeworth’s Day’ would be a pretty bad understatement. Waking up in some unknown room in some hideous tight suit and not being able to move for the first half a minute of waking
However, there is one fact that the prosecutor cannot deny - that he was no longer at home and someone had brought him to this strange place. Who has and why, he does not know, but he is going to find out...
Residents of 4-16, you have a roommate now. He's sitting on his bed, still staring at the letters and trying to think things through. He hasn't noticed you yet. You might want to yell at him or tap him on the shoulder]
Around the Dorms
[Now having found his suit in his trunk and now being dressed in ared suit with a noticeably large and frilly cravat more decent and respectable clothing, Miles Edgeworth starts wandering around the dorm area, trying to find anyone who can give him relevant information about the tower. ]
Excuse me. [If you turn around, you may see a young man in his mid-twenties, giving you this rather cold glare.SPOILERS. It's not intentional]
Floor 48
[Those who knows Edgeworth very well will know that he has a great fear of elevators, thanks to a traumatic incident he experienced as a child. Back home, he always used the stairs to get to his office, even though it was on the 12th floor.
And while Edgeworth knows that at some point, he has to overcome that fear, he has decided to test how long it will take to go all the way down to the cafeteria...
He did not expect to stumble across a graveyard, though, let alone a ceiling which looks very convincingly like the sky (or at least Edgeworth thinks it is possibly a very convincing simulation. As to why there is one, though). Just....what is this room?
You can find him exploring this floor, occasionally looking at a gravestone. He does not seem to recognise any of the names, though]
Floor 47
[A floor full of sheets and curtains. How bizarre. Why on earth is there a room full of them? Also, why does Edgeworth feel he is not alone in the room?
Suddenly, something moves behind the nearest curtain, making the prosecutor nearly jump.
Was that just his imagination just now? Or was that a face he saw behind the curtain?
Someone on the same floor might want to approach the guy and tell him this floor isn't safe]

Not to that horrible collar around his neck..
Just what in the world is going on?!

Re: 4-16
That is what I said, unfortunately. Death is something far too common in this place, though if it is any comfort to you death apparently is also not permanent. If you die or are killed, you merely awaken in your bed the next day. I haven't experienced this myself, but it's not something that the people around here are shy about talking about.
If you aren't skilled in fighting, I would suggest that you stick to using the elevator to go place to place in the tower. It doesn't stop on every floor, but it will stop on the ones that are generally safe for those who don't know how to fight--the first floor of the dorms, the cafeteria, the restaurant. Just beware of floor 41 as it isn't a safe one.
Re: 4-16
However, unlike the previous Lance Edgeworth had talked with, this one seems much politer.
He hasn't referred to the prosecutor as 'Bugs', for starters. He actually appears to want to help. Edgeworth will just be polite back for now]I see......forgive me, but I have a very hard time believing that people come back from the dead. [He's still trying to wrap his head around the 'talking with spirits' concept]
Re: 4-16
[Lancer gives him a gentle, understanding look.]
My world--magic runs through its very core even if most people aren't aware of that. One of the others who shares this room also comes from a world similar to mine, though there are differences. We are both heroes who died long ago and were brought back by magical means. Try wrapping your brain around that. It might hurt less than trying to figure out this tower.
Re: 4-16
I suppose I'd better have take a look around for myself after I get changed. [Because like hell he's going to walk around in this embarrassing outfit.]
Re: 4-16
Not a bad idea, but I must insist that you only explore on your own on the lowest floors otherwise your life will most certainly be in danger. If you wish to explore elsewhere, then please take someone who can fight with you. I mean no insult, Sir, but you don't seem to be the fighter type and the monsters in this place will quickly overwhelm you if you aren't careful. They can be very dangerous to even those who are well trained.
[Lancer pauses for a moment, and then walks over to his bed before returning with a piece of paper. He quickly writes a few notes onto the paper and then hands it to Edgeworth.]
I don't know if you can read Japanese, but this is a listing of the most dangerous floors I have found in the tower so far. Please, avoid them.
Re: 4-16
Re: 4-16
[Lancer takes the paper back from him and rips it in half and then holds the blank part and the pencil out to Edgeworth.]
I doubt you would be able to read ancient Gaelic any better so let me read the numbers to you and you can write them down. At least the common language the tower gives us will allow for that much communication.
[Once the other man seems ready, Lancer begins to read off what he had written down.]

Re: 4-16
Really, my advice is if something looks safe, suspect that it is actually the opposite. They really like making things seems safe only to have them not be in this place. However, the meadow on floor 25 is actually safe as are the media and music floors though they might seem a little creepy at times. Also floors 1-5 are safe since they generally just hold things like the library and cafeteria.
