Summary: Izanami wants to meet new people. She finds this easier as a gas station attendant than as a dead woman.
Warnings: Izanami is her own warning, but she may also be dying!

[She's just wandering around, looking for people to meet! Don't mind this guy, "he's" just an easy-going gas station attendant.]

[So far, Orihime had managed to avoid the more unpleasant floors of the tower. She'd spent her first day meeting new friends, and she figured she'd spend her second day looking around. And she was doing just that, when she nearly bumped into Izanami on the stairs just before the fourth floor.]

Excuse me! I guess I wasn't paying attention...

It's okay.

[Izanami will help make sure Orihime is balanced and isn't about to fall. Can't have that, can we?]

This place can be pretty distracting.

[Such a nice gas station attendant! Orihime smiled up at him.]

You think so too? I don't know how many floors there are, but the elevator goes for a long time, so it's probably a lot, right? And if every floor has something different...

I think there's almost forty now. Probably more. And most of them are dangerous.

[Might as well provide a warning.]

[ Turning the corner of some hallway of the art gallery (because damn there are grotesque things around here in these pictures, huh?), and then--

[She just couldn't stay away from the art gallery.

[ He manages to hold in an inward groan, and though his next words may sound like a complaint, his eyes have grown cold once again. ] I could be better...

OKAY HE IS JUST... Going to walk away. He was a good prisoner. What he learned to do is that if there's something there antagonizing him, it's best not to get riled up about it. ]

[chaos had just left the swimming pool and was getting changed when he sensed someone with quite a bit of power coming near. Curious, chaos quickly got dressed and wandered out onto the steps before smiling at the person.]

[No, you're imagining it. This is a totally normal gas station attendant!]

I am alright. Pardon my asking, but are you a new resident here? I cannot say that I have seen you before.

Not exactly new, I just tend to lie low. I guess you could say I've got a face that's easy to forget.

[He almost feels honored, except his feelings about her are kind of... mixed.]

...Decided for a slight change of pace? [Partially wondering how many fell for the guise, partially amused in the levels of awkward.]

[Luke's on his way around, intent on handing out some fresh deer meat to anyone that wants it, only to turn a corner and-- oh, high there, completely innocent gas station attendant. He let out a yelp, just about jumping out of his skin as he fumbled back, landing on his ass.]

[Why does he always meet with people like this?]

W-woah, man, sorry...!

[Oh, Luke, you silly boy. Izanami will hold out a hand to help you up, equally as startled.]

Sorry about that. Here, let me help you.

T-thanks...

[Luke paused a moment, checking for any meat packages that may have fallen, before letting out a relieved breath.]

S-sorry; I wasn't watching where I was going.

[Luke paused at that, looking over the gas station uniform.]

...I dunno; that shirt's pretty hard to miss.

[Sheba was just coming down the stairs between floors, and she very nearly walked right into the oh-so-innocent gas station attendant. She stopped short, though, and took a few steps back.]

I'm sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going...

[She keeps meeting people this way. Oops.]

I'm sorry myself. I should probably be a tiny bit louder, so people can hear me walking.

Walking quietly is a good skill to have around here, though. It's better to almost walk into people from time to time, than to get attacked by a monster. Don't you think?

Yeah, I guess I didn't think of that.

[She did. But this isn't Izanami right now, she's still playing the role.]

[Well, she wasn't the only one wandering. Though at least she had a goal in mind. Him? Well, just avoiding a few people he didn't want to see. Not that it was hard...

...Bother a seemingly unapproachable kid on the stairs landing of a really bad floor?]

[She actually is concern. He... Doesn't feel like a human in the least, not a normal one. So much odd about him...]

[...His eye might have twitched a bit before he glanced over at this guy addressing him. Seriously, why would anyone ever be concerned about him, anyway? Why bother? ~~Though really, who is okay in this tower except maybe the newcomers that weren't pulled from a very bad time in their lives?~~]

Yeah, just fine. [It's automatic; something he learned that normally keeps others from asking too many questions ~~especially names; that annoys him greatly~~. Though... something seems different about this scent.]

[On floor four, there is a robot girl curled up on the couch with her nose in a book; her axe is leaning up against the wall beside her, handle extended and blades folded.]

[She looked up when Izanami approached, slightly confused.]

...Ain't I seen ya somewhere before?

I dunno. I think I may just have that kind of face that seems familiar.

[SHRUG. Ohgod, don't recognize her. she doesn't want to explain.]

[Sephiran was glumly making his way from floor one (the cafeteria) to floor three (the library) when he bumped right into Izanami. Silly Sephiran, getting lost in depressing thoughts in the Tower of Animus is bad for you!]

My apologies. Who are you?

Kobayashi Hayate. And don't worry about it.

[Izanami will just have the most reassuring smile on her easily forgettable face.]

Kobayashi... do you have a moment? If so, I'd like to ask you a few questions.

[Sephiran is curious about this new person. Why not try and make some more friends in the tower?]

Sure. I don't have anywhere to go.
