[Open] Arrival of a Grand Master
Characters: Iroh and whoever comes across him.
Setting: Room 5-04 and the hallways.
Format: Either or
Summary: Iroh arrives and goes to see what's up.
Warnings: None so far.
Room 5-04
It was strange to wake up in a room like this, stranger still for him not to recognize...anything. Looking around, Iroh wondered if he was having some kind of very unusual dream. Had it been a plant he'd ingested? No, he didn't think so. At least he couldn't recall having consumed anything like that. Recently. Stroking his chin, he pondered the situation when he happened to notice his attire.
"Oh..."
True it showed off that his very muscular body but it was very immodest! Not at all the sort of thing a man of sixty-four should be wearing. Blinking, he poked at it a bit before getting off the bed and shuffling over to the trunk at the end of the bed. Perhaps the nice kidnappers had managed to find him some clothes?
Well, he could hope!
Hallways
After finding himself some proper clothes in his trunk and getting a little bit adjusted to this place, well as much as one could, Iroh went to explore the area. It wouldn't hurt to get to know his surroundings, even if he couldn't understand them. Everything was just so...advanced! As fascinating as it all was, he had no idea how to deal with it.
Ah well, there was little he could do about that. The best thing to do was find a nice hot cup of tea to help him think.
Now if he could just find the way down to the food area...

Leaning closer, he noted the yellow color in the collar the other wore. Much like his hair but perhaps a little brighter. It could be that meant something. What though, he couldn't say.
"If it is a game then it is a poor one indeed. We have not been told the rules!"
He smiled brightly after that. Clearly that was why this wasn't a game.

Four nightstands, and two notes on the one beside his bed.
"Or maybe we have been," he said, going over to snatch up the notes.
He took a moment to skim them over, his expression morphing from anger to disbelief to confusion, then all the way back to anger again. His world had been destroyed? He'd been saved? It was almost laughable. Did his kidnappers honestly expect him to believe all that?
He held the notes up, glancing over his shoulder at his companion.
"You read these?" he asked.

Iroh actually laughed and went over to the young man to look at his note. True he could go over to his own but better to look like the foolish old man. People always underestimated the elderly if they seemed ridiculous.
Pity this young man was likely to give himself wrinkles in a wink with how much stress he put himself under. He was really a handsome boy and could get the ladies going.
Or the boys.
He really couldn't tell which this one liked more.
"What does it say, my friend?"
no subject
"Not even close," he said. He passed the notes, both the welcome message and the explanatory note, to the older man. "It's some ridiculous drivel about our worlds being destroyed. It even comes with a nice little guide about how we're supposed to act in here, as if whoever put us here expects anyone to take them at their word."

"Perhaps we should get some tea then."
no subject
"Tea? We're stuck in some room in goddamned collars, and you want to get some tea?"
He scoffed, snatching the papers back just so he could have the luxury of crumpling them up himself. He threw the balled-up notes on the floor, stomped on them once, and then stalked over to the door.
"If you're not gonna take this seriously, then just stay away from me!" he snapped over his shoulder.
Through his anger, he was still trying to think of a plan. First up, he had to figure out whether or not the doors were locked. He hesitated with his hand hovering over the doorknob, trying to ascertain whether or not it was boobytrapped (though, with how he was feeling at that moment, what he really wanted to do was just kick the door down).

Smiling fondly, he opened the trunk and found himself very pleased with what he discovered there. What luck this was! A tea pot and a change of clothes! Naturally there were a few other things but the most essential things were there for him. Iroh hummed and set the outfit out on the bed then paused when he saw what the boy was doing.
"Ah, should I go first? I could see if it is dangerous."
no subject
He was momentarily distracted when he saw Iroh pulling things out of his trunk. His eyes landed on his own trunk at the foot of the bed he'd started off in, and he cautiously got to his knees in front of it after shooting one last glance at the door.
"If you want to, be my guest," he said. He had no problem with using someone else as a test dummy. "The doorknob could be electrified, or superheated, or maybe..."
He laid his hands on top of his trunk, his voice trailing off into a mutter.
