Arrival + Exploration (Backdated to Tuesday morning)
Characters: "Riku" and whoever wants to bother him
Setting: Late morning Tuesday, Room 5-02, Floors 1-8 (mostly Four and Seven, but also anywhere in between), Cafeteria
Format: Preferably action brackets, but will match third-person, albeit slightly slower
Summary: First day in the Tower. Includes exploring and not trusting the oatmeal.
Warnings: Nothing so far, will edit if anything comes up
5-02
[As soon as the sleep paralysis wears off, this guy is up and out of bed, and not happy. His mood doesn't improve when his first action upon waking up--attempt to pry his collar off--fails miserably.]
Ugh, why won't this come off...?
Floor Four
[When he's actually bothered to read his letters and made his way out of his room, he'll be taking the elevator down to the first floor. Then discovering the stairs, making his way up through the lower floors and stopping at the lounge area, as it seems to have a view outside.]
Floor Seven
[This is the highest floor you'll find this newbie today, aside from the dorm floors. He's not bothering to swim, but if you're swimming, don't mind the teenager in the long black coat prowling nearby.]
Cafeteria
[So there's a cafeteria, he knows that. He bypassed it earlier in favor of checking out some of the other floors, but now he's actually hungry. Too bad the only thing he was given was a bowl of oatmeal, which he's regarding very suspiciously, occassionally prodding it with a spoon.]

Floor Four
Until he spots what looks like himself in a black coat. Suspicious...
Well, it could be the other Replica, the one from his double's world, but just to be safe...]
Hey.
[Bracing for reaction in 3... 2... 1...]
Floor Four
Huh? [...] Oh great, you again.
no subject
[Yeah, that attitude gives him a pretty clear indication. But in spite of his surprise, Riku masks it with a cool front, moseying just a little bit closer to his copy.]
no subject
[Said copy isn't moving, but watching Riku very carefully, just in case he tries anything.]
no subject
[Gosh, Replica. You're so ridiculous.]
no subject
Then pass through, I'm not stopping you.
no subject
You must've just gotten here.
[Because Riku's sure he would've noticed his grouchy clone otherwise. And since he's so new, he can't afford to waltz off just yet. Damage control and all that.]

Re: Floor 7
Hello...uh...
[Well, this is awkward.]

[He's still trying to figure out if he should actually know Suzaku.]
...And you know my name, but I can't remember yours.
no subject
[He nodded at him politely] I am Kururugi Suzaku, sometimes this place brings identical people from different worlds, there are already two Riku's here.
[At least two that he knows of.]
no subject
[Well, that his world was destroyed. Suzaku didn't mention that, though he did say 'or saved'. Hmm.]
...Wait, you said there were two of me? There are more fakes?

I apologize for Repliku's behavior
Don't worry about it, Suzaku spends most his life being a jerk so I know these feels
I am only vaguely familiar with his canon, so I'll take your word for it
He's from a slightly less jerky canon point here but yes ;;

[Guy's only slipped into the room momentarily to have some space, but the kid on the bed is definitely another new face. Four beds, four equally confused people to occupy them, huh?
At least he's not as menacing as the other two that lived around here.]
no subject
Why do I even have it in the first place? You do, too...
no subject
Question of the hour, honestly. I have yet to figure that out myself. Just that it's a welcoming gift from the people who run this place.
no subject
It's a horrible gift, someone should let them know.
[Tug tug tug...okay, he's giving up now, settling back on his bed.]
Who runs...wait, what is this place?
no subject
[He sighs, plopping down on his own bed and running a hand against his neck.]
You might want to check out those notes of yours. It's not a great explanation. But it still is one.
Cafeteria
You have to eat a little bit of it, otherwise you won't be able to eat anything else.
Cafeteria
What would happen if I tried to eat anything else?
no subject
Late tag, I'm sorry
That's bizarre. But it's safe, right...?
No worries, I'm just as late
no subject
...It tastes okay. I think I can deal with it.
