[Floor 22 | The Art Gallery]

The art gallery floor had been one she'd not taken time to visit, not finding great value in it or its contents. However after several passes during her time in the tower, she found her curiosity piquing. Of course, there was no way she could have stopped this accidental visit, especially when a painting of the city of Midgar seemed to grace a spot near the front, pulling her attention - and eventually her body - in. Feet took her slowly through the gallery, looking at all the various pieces of art, stopping at one or two that caught her interest further.

It was somewhat embarrassing how easily she had been pulled in, the landscapes and portraits of, what she could easily guess were, other places and times curious and mind-boggling. She's careful not to wander too far, she did have other things on her agenda and with Rufus in the building, she was being kept busy. Very busy.

When she can finally see through the curtain of blonde, Elena can't help but flush slightly. She'd seen some very attractive women before - back in ShinRa's hayday Rufus had a good number of them on his arm. This was was...usually attractive. ".....O-okay..."

The soft stroking on her arm pulls her attention away from the ethereal appearance of her accidental crash victim, causing the hairs to partially raise up with the beginning breakouts of goosebumps. "I....I'm all right. I just..." Ah, wait. She couldn't let her know about the portraits. "Realized I was running late and had to get going."

Oh ho? This was interesting. She rather liked that look on this woman's face. "Late for what, may I ask?" Catarina's hand drifted up, pushing the blonde hair out of Elena's face.

To say Elena was completely off kilter and in a situation she had no idea what to do, and lets not also mention that she's not yet once moved out of the woman's arms, would be pretty accurate. Of course, it didn't take her long to capture her wits, the woman's fingers just lightly grazing at her cheek as she moved hair aside, causing shiver from the base of her spine to the tip of her head.

"....I have a meeting with a friend. Nothing I'd waste your time with." She knew she ought to move out of the woman's grip, but how was it that she found it...hard to do so. "I'm sorry for interrupting your viewing."

"I grow rather tired of these paintings," Catarina told her, her thumb stroking her cheek. "Perhaps I could walk you to your meeting?"

"Oh....?

Elena's stomach dropped, her hastily developed plan of escape in the verge of crumbling. The caress on her cheek stroked the electric current again, and this time Elena did move, wriggling herself free from the woman's embrace.

"T-thank you for the offer, but....this is a personal meeting. And its several floors up, so, I wouldn't want you to walk so far out of your way."

"I have little else to do," she purred. "An escort, for such a lovely lady. These halls are dangerous, after all, and pairs are far better than alone."

Odin's beard, the woman was persistent and Elena was struggling to politely suggest that the woman go her own way. Everything Elena tried ended up with her seeming more eager to offer her company. Finding little else she could say to change her mind, she gave a little defeated sigh.

"You do have a point. Gaia knows there are monsters lurking around the halls. I guess a little company wouldn't hurt..." Eyes moved from the woman to the doorway, then back to the woman.

"I don't think I properly introduced myself. I'm Elena. And you are?"

"Catarina." She stroked down Elena's arms to her hands, lifting them to her lips. "Quite nice to meet you, Elena."

Oh yes, when it seemed one was somewhat receptive to her advances and could possibly feed her, she would not be swayed.
