Setting: Various places in the tower! She is wandering.
Format: Starting in action, but I can match!
Summary: Merrill is confused and new and exploring. And also running into people, oops.
Warnings: Iiii don't think there will be any?

[Merrill was not expecting anything like this when she woke up. The paralysis bothered her a little, but the moment she could move, she went instantly into explorer mode. Where was Hawke? Did something happen? Were they caught after everything that went down in Kirkwall? She wasn't sure. The first thing she went to was the trunk at the end of her bed-- in it were some things she had from home. She made sure to read the letters too, and... she was pretty alarmed!

She changed into her white armor, instantly more comfortable in that than what she had woken up in. She took out the staff, and put on her rings and the amulet as well-- she didn't know where she was, so she had to be prepared.

... She grabbed the ball of twine, too. It would allow her to find her way back to the room later.

So! Now that she's here and wandering and exploring, she's also somewhat clumsy. Merrill isn't really watching where she's going, so-- anyone want an elf girl to run into them?]

Yes, that's the name of my world. It's nothing like this, really. [She sighs. This place is so... odd, compared to what she's used to. Everything is so much more advanced.] It doesn't seem so bad, at least.

Would I be asking to make to wonder how your Thedas is? [Is, not was.]

The people here are for the most part very helpful and in the same situation as you, so there is little to worry on that point. It's the Tower itself, where we are, that you will have to be careful. Some of the floors here are quite odd or potentially dangerous, so do go with caution until you familiarize yourself.

I will say that if you're hungry you need to head to the first floor, luckily there is an elevator for that.

I'll keep that in mind, thank you. And-- Thedas is beautiful. I'm sure it's fine.

[She tilts her head at the next comment, though.] What is an elevator?

We can only hope.

[And here he'd never thought of this. That people wouldn't know the same things as him. But it made sense. Being from a world not his own.]

It's something you stand on and it can move you up or down floors in a building. Basically a floor that moves you to another of your choosing.

That sounds sort of like the lift we had to use to get to Darktown. It was useful for getting around to those kind of places.

[She looks like she's sort of lost in thought-- thinking about these new things and all of that stuff. There's so much going on and it's somewhat difficult to process right away.]

It certainly is. Especially when you cannot traverse stairs so easily anymore.

[And he notes her bout of spaciness. But honestly he can't blame her.]

Do you need any help figuring things out? I can try my best to explain anything if you don't know what it is.

[The spaciness is pretty common. This is the first of many bouts of that.]

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask what else is in this tower. Is there anything important that I should know?

Mostly as I mentioned before, be careful as you move to the different floors here. Some could be dangerous, others are just... strange, but not harmful.

There are many different types of people here as well. And many versions as well. Like I myself am human, yet I can only assume there are humans on Thedas as well as you didn't seem alarmed by my appearance compared to your own. There is a large yellow fellow who while he might be frightening in looks is actually very pleasant to speak with.

So be cautious, but I suppose don't judge everyone here too quickly if you can allow it. We're all here together, for better or worse, until we figure out what is going on.

Yes-- we have a lot of humans on Thedas. Some of my best friends are human... and one's a dwarf, but I will keep what you said in mind. I'm not really one to judge others by appearance unless they're trying to kill me.

Hopefully we can figure out what is going on soon.

That does seem unsettling. I don't really like this tower at all. It's not very pleasant feeling.

I've tried to learn what I can myself, but with no one here knowing anything but what they learn from the owners of this tower well... there seem to be things not quite matching up here and there.

They seem all smiles and friendly words. Yet I've heard of experiments going on. So I cannot say how true their friendly faces truly are. [More because he couldn't read their minds as well. Something was stopping him, and it made things very difficult to find anything out.]

[Experiments-- considering what this tower seems like, they can't be good experiments. Or maybe she's wrong and they are. Either way, it's a bit unsettling to her.]

I'll have to experience it for myself, but... that doesn't sound promising, if there are experiments going on. Unless they're the good kind. Something is telling me they're not, though. It's not good if nothing is matching up well.

I would be cautious, and I would not opt into anything if there is such an option to be left out of it.

[Then again that brought about the thought of people being forced into these things. He didn't like how that made his stomach turn a bit.]

Of course. I'm going to keep that in mind-- I don't want to get involved in something if I can help it.

[she doesn't want to bite off more than she can chew, really.]
