Setting: Various places in the tower! She is wandering.
Format: Starting in action, but I can match!
Summary: Merrill is confused and new and exploring. And also running into people, oops.

[Merrill was not expecting anything like this when she woke up. The paralysis bothered her a little, but the moment she could move, she went instantly into explorer mode. Where was Hawke? Did something happen? Were they caught after everything that went down in Kirkwall? She wasn't sure. The first thing she went to was the trunk at the end of her bed-- in it were some things she had from home. She made sure to read the letters too, and... she was pretty alarmed!

She changed into her white armor, instantly more comfortable in that than what she had woken up in. She took out the staff, and put on her rings and the amulet as well-- she didn't know where she was, so she had to be prepared.

... She grabbed the ball of twine, too. It would allow her to find her way back to the room later.

So! Now that she's here and wandering and exploring, she's also somewhat clumsy. Merrill isn't really watching where she's going, so-- anyone want an elf girl to run into them?]

[Charles is wheeling around the dorm floor to get back to his dorm and sees the young woman. He finds her appearance quite strange, yet beautiful. Exotic might be the better word. She was an elf. After some of the people and beings he'd met here the shock wasn't as great, but it was still amazing to realize it either way.

She looked disoriented, confused. She must be new.]

Is there anything I can help you with? You look lost.

[She nods, and-- shakes his hand? That's what humans do, right? Oooh, you'd think she'd be sure about this sort of stuff after living in Kirkwall after all those years.]

I read the note, but it was sort of hard to believe. I don't think Hawke would have let Thedas be destroyed like that. [She was worried about Hawke. They had been together when they left Kirkwall.] It's good to know that I'm not alone, at least. I wouldn't want to be alone in a place like this-- as long as the people here were nice. ... I'm rambling, sorry.

Oh... no,this isn't a costume. If I were going to wear a costume, I would try to look like a tree. [SHE IS... completely serious? And her voice has a sliiiightly dreamy sound to it, although it's not anything big.] I didn't realize berries set a low bar for that sort of thing.

Trees aren't that bad of a costume. It might make them jealous if you were wearing it in the woods, though. [Because they wouldn't be able to move and they'll see a moving tree.]

[It takes a second for her to realize that the familiar hand belonged to Fenris, and she turns to look at him. She's actually somewhat glad to see someone familiar, even if Fenris wasn't her first choice when it came to seeing someone from home.]
