003 ♃ Just the usual
Characters: Sheba and anyone who happens to not be Sheba!
Setting: Room 3-12 (sorry Felix and/or his roommates, she came to visit) | Floor 40 | Floor 32 | Floor 05
Format: I'm just playing "follow the leader" over here - you pick~
Summary: Sheba's been here for thirty years now, and is going about her day - which means letting herself into Felix's room, rummaging around for some things she put away, having a snack, and making plans to wreck some shit around the tower. Same old, same old.
Warnings: Sheba's a snoop and is totally unrepentant about reading peoples' minds unless they happen to be her close friends. This has only gotten worse in the thirty years or so that she thinks she's been here.
[ROOM 3-12]
[Sheba had taken to showing up at Felix's room unannounced, as he and his roommates had probably figured out over the last few years.
Not only that, but she'd also taken to just letting herself in. Which was what she did that morning, smooth as anything.]
Good morning!
[She said with a pleasant smile, as she slipped through the doorway. Sorry, Felix and/or anyone who happened to be in the room.]
[FLOOR 40]
Tch. What a pain.
[She had known what to expect when she'd stored a few things here; however, she didn't think it would be this hard to find them again. The last few times it had been much easier, but now the boxes were just being...
She let out a frustrated sigh and eyed the precariously-stacked boxes. She was going to have to look through them, now wasn't she?]
This wasn't how I wanted to spend my morning...
[FLOOR 32]
[She wanted a snack, but she didn't want to go all the way down to the first floor... or to the restaurant. She'd had quite enough of fetch quests during her stay here, thank you.
So she was here for one reason and one reason only: To find some berries. Preferably, ones that wouldn't gift her with a slow, painful death by poison.]
Let's see, then...
[She was just taking a leisurely walk through the woods here, keeping an eye out for anything edible. A nice quiet snack was just the thing she needed.]
[Floor 05]
[Sheba doesn't often bother with the viewfinders anymore. She knows well enough that her world is gone; she doesn't need the reminder. It's something that weighs heavily on her almost every day.
She wasn't on the fifth floor to look out. Rather, she was looking in - at the nameless, faceless people who staffed the security station in the center. Somehow, she just didn't think they were real, not the same way she and her friends were. But they did have a job to do.
And what would happen if they were somehow rendered incapable of doing their jobs? Well, that was what she was here to find out.
She knew the Administrators could be cruel. But the thing was, after thirty years, she'd had quite enough of it. If they could be cruel, so could she - and if it really bothered them, they could allow her to leave the tower.
The question remained, though... what Psynergy would she use to terrorize the NPCs today?]
Spark Plasma... or perhaps Tempest? Hmm...
[Oh, she knew there'd be consequences. But it made her feel a little better to cause some trouble around here. Being well-behaved had never been enough to free her before.
The blonde lingered near the viewfinders, carefully watching the NPCs' movements. When, where, and how to strike... that was what she had to come up with.
And if she could find someone to help her do it, so much the better.]

GUESS.
Long story short, he wasn't watching the door when she came in, and jumped a bit at her greeting.]
Sheba, why...?
[He trailed off, staring at her with curiosity for a few moments. Was it just him, or did she look...older than she had? It wasn't by much, but by enough that he was definitely noticing. Maybe the Tower was playing tricks on him? Maybe he should see if she had noticed anything...]
Is there something...different with you today?
I BET IT'S THE FIFTH FLOOR
His question caught her a little off-guard, though, and she furrowed her brows.]
Different? Not really...
[She looked down at herself. The same clothes as ever, and she didn't think she'd grown significantly taller since the last time they'd seen each other...]
Did I show up too early or something? Are you still tired, sleepyhead?
[She looked back up and shot him a wry grin - but the grin quickly slid away as she got a better look at him.]
Wait a minute - is there something different with you?
WELL YEAH.
He was starting to wonder if it was just him and frowned a bit in mild annoyance. It wasn't like he was going to ask if she was suddenly older. But then she asked her last question, and his suspicion rose again.]
Not the last time I checked. But if you really think something's different, then maybe something else is going on?
I MEAN WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE
She furrowed her brows a bit when he frowned, and then nodded slowly when he spoke up.]
Yes, that's what I was thinking. You look... [She pursed her lips.] You look like yourself, just... a little different than I remember you looking yesterday.
The Administrators must be playing tricks again. [HEAVY SIGH.] Honestly, sometimes I wonder about them... don't they have anything better to do with their time?
