Summary: Ienzo rather likes this new library, save for the minor issue of HALF THE BOOKS BEING MISSING. He is not standing for this.

Well, Tower, there’s a new library!

Now take a wild guess who’s the first one in it.

Yup, anyone who sets foot in the library will likely fiend Ienzo already traipsing around. Perhaps ‘traipsing’ is not the right word, though — he’s moving clearly as if he has an intent in mind, the intent being finding where all of the other books went. He doesn’t terribly care if this library is much more ominous and threatening in its ambiance, of course, though someone else might. So who knows? A small creature with a grave expression and a swooshy white coat might appear just slightly unnerving in this half-lit and half-stocked library.

Applejack has taken to quietly exploring in the tower, keeping a watchful eye out for the so-called humans. Even though Fluttershy has said that they're pretty nice, it doesn't hurt to be alert just in case.

And so she ends up in the other library, wandering about, before something white catches her eye. Trotting closer, she calls out. "Hey!"

Ienzo heard a voice call out to him, this one female, and turned around to face th--

...oh good god what is that thing.

For a moment he thought that the thing was one of those monsters that had been running around Radiant Garden when he left, and he seriously considered running for his life. But then he noticed that while its eyes were definitely odd, they were different from what the monsters had, and bright orange didn't fit into the monsters' default color palette.

"...Hello," he said, somewhat warily. Even if the possibility of her being a monster had been ruled out, it had still set him on edge.

Oh, a little 'human'. The pony slowed down to a walk, her tail swishing lightly behind her. So far, most of the two-legged ones she had seen didn't look all that threatening (including the one who pretty much befriended her), so she's taking her chance with this one.

"May I know what is going on right now?"

He looked around; nothing really seemed to be going on at all, save for the obvious issue of there being giant gaps in the library shelves. "...Pardon me?"

"This whole place." She raised a hoof to indicate her surroundings. "Why're we here, and what's with this collar thing?"

"We don't know." He shook his head slowly. "...The only possible explanation we have was on the letter you received..." Ienzo isn't actually sure whether he believes the letter or not. It's possible, but as time went on it became more and more obvious that the tower owners really couldn't be trusted -- so why should he believe them now?

Applejack had read the letter, but dismissed it as a joke since it seemed like a prank Pinkie would pull. However, the two-legger apparently received the same letter, and Pinkie Pie wasn't around...


"So... you're sayin' my world, Equestria is destroyed?"

"...That is what the owners of the tower told us," he said. "...It's your decision... if you want to believe them or not."

"Well, I don't believe that!" Applejack huffed, flipping her mane back. "The Princess won't just let our world be destroyed."

He said nothing. The idea that jumped to mind was that this 'Princess' character had died along with the world, but he didn't bring this up to the pony-thing, for any number of reasons: he doesn't know the princess or her power levels, he didn't want to offend her, he just didn't like speaking. So instead he looked the creature up and down, wondering once again if she was any species he had seen before. He had approximated to a horse of some sort, but horses were usually larger than this, and they didn't... talk.

Okay, the staring from the two-legger was starting to creep her out. Slowly she stepped back, flicking her tail nervously. "So, uh, I'm just gonna go look for something else."

"...What are you looking for...?"

She stopped and tossed her head.

"Answers. What else would I be lookin' for?"

"...A book, possibly."

Well, it is a library.

"Naw, I'm not much of a reader, sugarcube."

That's Twilight Sparkle's territory; Applejack prefers doing more muscle work, so she turns to trot off to look for something else that would tell her exactly what's going on.
