social experiment #2
Characters: Ienzo and YOU!
Setting: Floor 19, aka The Creepy Library.
Format: Either one. I'll follow you.
Summary: Ienzo rather likes this new library, save for the minor issue of HALF THE BOOKS BEING MISSING. He is not standing for this.
Warnings: None, so far.
Well, Tower, there’s a new library!
Now take a wild guess who’s the first one in it.
Yup, anyone who sets foot in the library will likely fiend Ienzo already traipsing around. Perhaps ‘traipsing’ is not the right word, though — he’s moving clearly as if he has an intent in mind, the intent being finding where all of the other books went. He doesn’t terribly care if this library is much more ominous and threatening in its ambiance, of course, though someone else might. So who knows? A small creature with a grave expression and a swooshy white coat might appear just slightly unnerving in this half-lit and half-stocked library.

"It's not very well stocked, isn't it?" She attempted to smile, and she wasn't enitrely sure if this light comment would left any atmosphere, knowing how half the books were really gone because those in charge were hiding something from them.

He stopped in his quest and turned around, to be faced with a woman he had not seen before. She was trying to smile at him, it seemed, but was clearly (to him, anyhow) unsure in her demeanor. Perhaps something about a dark half-filled library was 'scary' to her. ...Eh. Not his problem. He paused there for a moment, before offering an explanation for himself.
"...I was searching for the missing books..." he explained. "...Perhaps... someone misplaced them."
no subject
"I was wondering about them too. Whether or not they've been hidden, or taken away completely, as to hide information from us."
no subject
Now that he thought about it, the possibility of withholding information like this seemed more than plausible, especially considering the tower owners' track record. "...They've taken away all relevant information from the other library... and the shelves haven't been thinned like this." He, and others, have checked the library extensively and come up with zilch. "...Perhaps it was a mistake fixed in a rush?"
no subject
Vietnam looked around the shelves again, eying beneath them. There were no boxes that she could see, then again, those in charge wouldn't make it easy for them.
"Perhaps, it did only just appear. If the books do not appear in the next few days, however, then we're going to have to look away from the shelves. I wonder, if they have anywhere for storage around here too?"
no subject
He's talking much more than normal now. Perhaps because this is a matter that actually demands words.

She took out her notebook, still incomplete, with only various information she gathered from observation and brainstorming with Castiel. "--I've been trying to take notes, a set of information compiled by us. Right now there's probably not a lot compared to what this tower could possibly be hiding."

And let's just say it was a bad time to find anything swooshy and white in a half-lit library. Sam had heard about a ghost being in the tower not too long ago, and so immediately the movement he caught in the corner of his eye had him on edge.
The only thing that probably saved the stranger from being attacked with a bag of salt was the fact that Sam decided to take a closer look. "Hey."
no subject
And why yes, the ghosts simply love this tower now. It was terribly hard to leave the dormitory levels at night because they're always stalking around, looking for someone to feed off of. (Though he wasn't exactly inclined to leave the dorm level in the first place -- the last time he had run in with one of those things Didn't End Well. This placed the ghosts on the very, very small list of things that could seriously scare him.)
Ienzo turned around only when Sam addressed him. "...Yes, can I help you?" In case you're wondering, he's speaking in the usual deadpan and staring hard at Sam. Way to make yourself look less threatening and ghostlike, Ienzo.
no subject
And the deadpan and the hard stare. If Ienzo looked closely, he could probably detect some surprise, but for the most part Sam tried to look curious and interested. "Do you work here?"
no subject
"No," he responded. He didn't bother to ask whether this other person did -- if he needed to ask, he really didn't know. So instead he gave the stranger another question, no more expressive than the first time around. "...Who are you?"
no subject
"Sam." He turned his eyes to the books now, almost noticing immediately that some shelves were almost completely void. How odd... but then again, this was probably one of the most tamest things Sam had every seen inside this tower if he was to be completely honest.
Unfortunately, Sam was willing to bet those that were missing were the very same books he was looking for. That was consistent to how cruel lady luck normally treated him, however.
no subject
He did notice Sam glancing over at the almost vacant shelves. "...Almost the entirety of this section has been removed," he said quietly. "Bits and pieces from the neighboring sections are missing as well, and 'history' is completely empty... the books here are obviously more advanced than in the other library, but..." Once again the question popped up of why this had happened, and what it meant.

And so she ends up in the other library, wandering about, before something white catches her eye. Trotting closer, she calls out. "Hey!"
no subject
...oh good god what is that thing.
For a moment he thought that the thing was one of those monsters that had been running around Radiant Garden when he left, and he seriously considered running for his life. But then he noticed that while its eyes were definitely odd, they were different from what the monsters had, and bright orange didn't fit into the monsters' default color palette.
"...Hello," he said, somewhat warily. Even if the possibility of her being a monster had been ruled out, it had still set him on edge.

"May I know what is going on right now?"

It's odd that a second library appeared, and one that is so understocked. I wonder if there is a reason behind its emptiness.
no subject
...either it was a last-minute error correction... or they're simply taunting us.
no subject
What sections have you found to be missing? Perhaps that is a clue in itself.
