[CLOSED] Maybe some day I'll walk away and say "you disappoint me"
Characters: Darkleer & Signless
Setting: Floor 45.
Format: Action.
Summary: Post-event fallout: Darkleer and Signless have things to talk about.
Warnings: FEELINGS.
[Darkleer found the observation floor to be rather conductive to thinking. And oh, he had much to think about. Waking up with the horrifying memories of the past week did not put him in a particularly good mood. Normally he'd rather go to the workshop and tinker away with something - Tinkerer - but rather than indulge in that, he decided instead to stand by the glass, watching the grotesque creatures crawl about, trying in vain to intimidate him.
He stood by a corner, somewhat out of sight from the staircase, clad in robes rather than armor for once, arms folded behind his back. He was too tense to slouch, standing at full height, back rigid.]

While it was not my intention to reform him, I do think with time it is possible. Though it will take a great allotment of time. That aside, I wil never understand why you have the concern. I stand by what I said I will not run if our paths may cross again.
[At that last comment though a growl echoes in his throat.]
Do not try to watch out for me, for her sake. When it was your actions in the first place that broke her heart! Is that what it is, you are keeping an eye on my in order to make yourself feel better for the actions that came when you let your arrow fly! I do not think any action you do today can make up for it! Do not flatter yourself.
no subject
Only you, you insufferable fool, would dare assume any of this is about flattery.
no subject
Oh, well then infamous Darkleer, what is it that I am supposed to assume! When it is you who goes silent at the very mention of her name!
no subject
[Sarcasm, have you some motherfucker.]
no subject
[Ignoring that sarcasm there.]
no subject
Yet according to you, that would be a first.
no subject
[He snaps back, finding himself going in circles...it is nothing short of confusing.]
no subject
[He narrows his eyes.]
But you will not turn this conversation on me. The very thing you are accusing me of is precisely what your misguided pride and ludicrous "understanding" of death is setting out to do.
no subject
[Why can't they just get along...and hug.]
no subject
I care very little for what you say, if it won't impact your actions. Your recklessness is infuriating.
SO WHY DON'T YOU SELL ME BUY A RABBIT INSTEAD
[Growl.]
wow, WOW, AND YOU WANT PALE HUGS AFTER THAT?
No, you're not.
YES I DO OMFG, TAKE A HINT
Oh? Seems that way.
YOU'RE SENDING OUT MIXED SIGNALS.
But things are hardly ever what they seem, right?
no subject
Implying?
no subject
[Darkleer scoffs.]
You're also baiting my patience in the vain hope I will lose my temper and forget all about your ridiculous, self-destructive urges.
[He arches an eyebrow.]
Again, are you five.
no subject
Alright, I will accept that. I am sorry for acting out. This event has...confused my thoughts.
no subject
As evidenced by the fact this entire conversation is happening, yes, I know.
[And he knows the feeling. Blurgh.]
no subject
[Or so he believes.]
no subject
[Overly complicated, messy disaster.]
Situation.
no subject
[A pause.]
In the past, when the tower messed with our perception of time. I dare say I pitied you, but I am not sure what I feel now and this is probably the conclusion as to why this conversation has fallen on itself repeatedly.
no subject
Then perhaps this conversation should be put on hold, until you've made sense of your own thoughts.
[He tries to keep his tone casual, like they're talking about the weather, or something. But there's perhaps a hint of unease to him, as a whole.]
no subject
How about yourself?
no subject
[Hey, it doesn't sound like much but it is, okay.]
I don't even particularly object to your company all that much except when you decide to test my patience.
[Have another of those almost delicate shrugs of his.]
Anything else would fall under the altered perception of the Tower and I doubt you would be interested in any of that.
no subject
[He comes to move so that he is sitting in a chair beside him, no longer across from him.]
Perhaps we should take things one day at a time, think about what the future may hold an come back to meet here another day. From there we will discuss...well what we feel exactly for one another. For now I am content in being.... Unlikely friends.
[For once he smiles, hoping that he will agree.]

DO YOU HEAR THE BAKA CHORUS
I hear nothing.
Singing the songs of angry tsuns!
He's not angry. ...yet. He'll be angry when people start dying.
