[CLOSED] Maybe some day I'll walk away and say "you disappoint me"
Characters: Darkleer & Signless
Setting: Floor 45.
Format: Action.
Summary: Post-event fallout: Darkleer and Signless have things to talk about.
Warnings: FEELINGS.
[Darkleer found the observation floor to be rather conductive to thinking. And oh, he had much to think about. Waking up with the horrifying memories of the past week did not put him in a particularly good mood. Normally he'd rather go to the workshop and tinker away with something - Tinkerer - but rather than indulge in that, he decided instead to stand by the glass, watching the grotesque creatures crawl about, trying in vain to intimidate him.
He stood by a corner, somewhat out of sight from the staircase, clad in robes rather than armor for once, arms folded behind his back. He was too tense to slouch, standing at full height, back rigid.]

His weapon was not sufficient. He needed another, two sickles were better then one after all. There was only one who could make such an artifact. Besides he could use it as an excuse to break the awkward tension that was sure to follow.
His search led him to the observatory and while this wasn't his favorite spot to...explore, he needed to check ever corner. ]
no subject
His actions were inexcusable and the thoughts behind them...
No, never mind, he's brooding alright.]
Sorry these tags are horrible
He pauses. Ears twitch ever quickly as he sense the presence of another. Signless turns around and manages to catch a glimpse of the troll within the shadows.]
Dark..- Horuss?
[If he cares to acknowledge his presence, then it is for certain that such the call fo his name is sure to get his attention.]
Pft, hardly. <3
...not that the pesky - handsy - mutant is ever much intimidated by him. Oh no, he remembers very well.
He plays with the idea of ignoring him for a moment, but he discards it soon enough. Ignoring the man has never done him any good, anyway. So he grunts instead, not turning from his contemplation of the creatures crawling about the glass.]

Has your voice left you or do you just choose to speak in a animalistic tone that our predecessors of the prehistoric age are capable of. Darkleer. [For now he sticks to his title.]
I have a favor to ask fo you.
no subject
And what is it that you require of me?
no subject
A weapon. Well, a sickle to be more precise.
no subject
And why would you as me for it?
no subject
Is it necessary to ask such a question?
[A pause.]
Why not you.
no subject
...it will be done.
[Yeah, let's just. Get this conversation over and done with so he can go hide in a different corner.]
Is that all?
no subject
[He lets out a short sigh.]
But I do think you wish to ignore the topic I speak of, like a rampant hoofbeast mucking about in the room.
[A pause.]
However if you are willing to speak about such a topic I would prefer to not do it in a setting such as this.
no subject
And what setting would you consider appropriate for a discussion such as that.
no subject
[...]
Wherever you are comfortable.
no subject
I suppose the library will suffice.
[Enough tables to flip there, anyway.]
no subject
[He turned on his heel and headed for the door. There was a short pause as he turned to glance back at him.]
no subject
Silently, he wishes he could stop thinking in metaphors, and reading more than necessary, into the other's words.]
no subject
It doesn't take them long to get to the library however. Signless by this point knew the way fairly well. Upon reaching their destination he finds a comfortable chair to sit in and motions for the other to find a place to sit.]
no subject
Darkleer takes a seat, folding his arms over his chest and ignoring the slight concern than the chair will simply give in under his weight. He's not precisely the most petite of trolls, after all. He arched an eyebrow at the man, waiting.
Because he was the one that wanted to talk, not him.]

no subject
If it is an apology you wish, for my appalling behavior the past few days, you needed only ask for it.
no subject
No, not an apology. In fact I do not fear, regret, or hide from what happened. If anything I just want to talk about it.
[As quickly as he spoke, the silence only returned soon after.]
no subject
One needs to speak, in order to talk about things.
[I mean, in case Signless had missed the memo.]
no subject
[It was like a hot potato game of sass.]
no subject
Your attempts at appearing obtuse are anything but endearing.
no subject
[Attacking his appearance. Wow that was a little low, but hey he wished to get a reaction he could work off of.]
