Having the best of intentions doesn't garantuee things will go well
Characters: Xion and the Tower
Setting: 3rd Floor Library
Format: Pick your poison
Summary: Xion left a post on the network asking for help regarding a certain wedding and is now waiting at the library to see if anyone bites
Warnings: Probably nothing but I'll let you know if this changes
[For those who might have seen Xion's network post, or even for those who haven't, Xion can be found in the third floor library, sitting nest to a computer terminal, fingers clenching and unclenching anxiously in the fabric of her coat. She keeps glancing over at the network briefly to check, occasionally pulling out the pouch that she has and shuffling her fingers through the shells inside.
She could only really wait, and see who would come. If anybody.]

But Ruana is perched on top of the computer terminal nonetheless.]
I won't let them do anything, you know.

Which is to say Xion utters a brief scream and falls of her chair. There's a brief moment where she's scrabbling around to look up at Ruana. Then it registers what she said. She freezes.]
Wh-what do you mean?
[What was anything? Who was them? The other admins?]
no subject
Jason, mostly! But I mean any of my administrators. It's a wedding after all! [Again, as on the earlier video, she sounds a bit struck by the romanticism of it.]
no subject
Y-you mean it? You won't let anything bad happen?
[Is there a catch?
There's always a catch...]no subject

[So... it looked like the admins wouldn't interfere with the wedding, but...]
But... why would they want to?
[It'd sounded like Zo was curious, but... that wasn't bad, she'd been curious too. But why would the others want to interrupt it?]

... I know about him. I talked to him on the network once. But... I still don't get why he'd care about something like this.
[All that he'd cared about when she'd talked to him was experiments. Admittedly it had been... a short conversation.]

So... this is new for you guys too...?
[It's... a strange feeling. That this might be a new experience for them as well as her...]

It must have been really... different before we came here...
[Lonely maybe. At the same time, she can't forget her costume, watching Sora die in the labyrinth... she's torn. Part of what made life in the Tower bearable even for her was all the people in it. But she still doesn't think she likes the admins' brand of "fun"...]
Is that why you do things? The games and experiments?

While she worked and thought, Tohko saw a girl with short black hair sitting near one of the terminals. She didn't look that good..like something was bothering her. Not one to just leave a person alone when they were in pain, Tohko walked up to her.
"Hey..are you alright? What's wrong?"
no subject
She continued to fidget with the fabric of her coat
"I-it's... something happened today, and I'm worried about what it means for two friends of mine. So... I asked for some help and I'm waiting to see what happens," she explained, slowly. Even though she'd just done so on the terminal, it felt strange to just... spill everything to someone she wasn't that familiar with. If she asked, Xion could explain more, maybe. That... seemed better.

"I see..so you're a friend of the bride and groom in this wedding, huh? Well..I may not be of much help, but if you want, I wouldn't mind coming to the wedding and offering some protection."
no subject
Still, when the girl offered her help, Xion blinked, then nodded. "Y-yeah, I am. And... if you could help, that would be great. Thanks." It was a bit of a relief that she hadn't had to go into a long explanation, though she's still surprised the other girl figured it out that fast.
But... still she wasn't going to turn away extra help.

Tohko then smiled and nodded. "Sure, I'll help out! I may be a simple book girl, but I'm always happy to help, especially in these circumstances. It would be terrible if someone crashed the party and made this bluebird of happiness fly away. By the way..who's the lucky couple?"
no subject
Not that that was hard. His eyes are still shadowed, smiles a little slower to come but he smiles when he sees Xion and goes to hug her in greeting.]
Gonna place this after the Ruana thread, if that's okay?
thats fine!
yaaay
Ruana was here about the wedding.

"You say that you were looking for ... protection of a sort?"
Chloe wasn't entirely sure why she was doing this, but part of her remembered the island of Amat. People would rarely believe her to be a safe or positive individual, she was sure. However, perhaps getting them indebted to her could make this entire situation more easily managed. After all, they were in very ... close quarters.
Besides, she was a touch curious about this one.
I am so sorry this is so late orz
"Y-yeah," she said with a nod, "But, not for me or anything. For my friends, and the wedding."
Though this person probably knew that already...

Did she seem pleased at Xion's apparent nervousness or the way that she jumped? Maybe a little. Her lips were quirked in a rather impish little grin right about then.
"I... require no payment, though I somehow do not think this place truly has much in the way of currency really."
All right with you if I take the Ruana thread up there into account? (If not I'll edit)
He went stock-still at the sound of Ruana's voice, sitting behind a bookshelf and listening. It was only after he'd heard other conversations that he emerged and approached Xion.*
Excuse me...I know you've been promised security, but...would you still like others to help?
Perfectly fine! Sorry for the delay
She looks down at her hands.]
Y-yeah. I think so. [She closes her eyes] Just to be safe.
[There's a pause, and then, quietly...]
You heard what she said?
That's okay, I'm very slow myself, right now.
*A pause to match hers, and Enoch nods. He heard.*
Dun dun Dunnnnnnn | Post-Ruana
So its just by happenstance that Elena is walking by the library when she catches sight of Xion. Giving the girl a wave, Elena padded over with a little smile.]
Hey, Xion. I was wondering where you'd ran off too. Do you have a second?
SOB...
Y-yeah. Sure. What is it?
Xion, baby.... AND HOLY SHIT LATE, SORRY YO
[A type of jumpiness that was connected to a surprise visit of somebody you didn't expect. Or of something that had put you on high alert. Eyes narrowed slightly, belying the concern that hovered behind her friendly smile.]
I wanted to get your thoughts on something. But you can't tell anybody about it, its supposed to be a surprise.
NO WORRIES
[Xion ducked her head a little, starting to settle more now that Elena was here.]
Okay, I won't tell anyone. It's for the wedding, right?
<3!!
[At her question, Elena nods, a smile stretching from one side of her face to the other.] Its a little something I wanted to surprise Reno with, but I'm not sure about something....
[Pulling a small notebook out from her jacket, she slid her hand over the cover and opened it, flipping past several pages of notes regarding the tower and some of the residents until she landed on a drawing of what looked like a suit-dress, only one had a shorter hem to the knee and the other to the ankle.]
I can't decide if I want the shorter length or not....
