004 ♃ In which life is really rather funny
Characters: Sheba and Felix, with handwaved Asch interaction.
Setting: Handwaved that it began on dormitory floor four, by Asch's room, and then continued on down to the pool on the seventh floor for easy access to cold water and changing rooms.
Format: Action tags? Yeah, action tags. I'm lazy. I'll switch if you want to, though!
Summary: Sheba needs some help getting bloodstains out of white fabric. Who better to ask than Asch the Bloody? Surely he'll know what to do! And hopefully he can get it done before certain people start asking awkward questions like, "Why is there blood on your clothes in the first place?" But even Sheba's luck can't hold out that long... can it? Apparently not, because when she comes back to check on her clothes, she finds someone else entirely!
Warnings: Handwaving (with permission), slow tagging because ahaha I keep getting busier than I expect to be, etc.
[Sheba was lucky, really. Okay, yeah, getting into a fight on the Cathedral floor and the falling down onto the blood-soaked floor wasn't lucky, but at least she hadn't died, and at least she knew who to go to for help in getting the stains out. It could have been much worse.
That's definitely on her mind as she rummages through one of the lockers in a locker room. A swimsuit and a towel wasn't the most ideal outfit - indeed, it takes Sheba a pretty good amount of time to even figure out how to put it on properly - but it'll do, she guesses.
A good ten minutes or so after she'd originally slipped into the locker room to change, she peeks out of it.]
Asch, I found something in here I can use, I don't think I'll... need...
[Very quickly, though, her voice trails off and she stares in what's most likely shock at the sight of the person who was definitely not Asch.]

He nods, frowning a bit himself. He had also assumed he was the only survivor, so this was just causing a lot of mixed emotions.]
Yes. So are you.
[Obvious maybe, but he was still trying to grasp it.]
But why would they take just two of us from Weyard and then keep us separated?

[It's a strange feeling, knowing for sure that you're not alone anymore. Even with Felix right here in front of her, even with the echo of the memory of his promise ringing in her ears, it's a lot to take in.]
I don't know... it's hard to say why these people do anything. [She purses her lips.] They claim to have saved us, but I'm not sure... There's just so little we know about this place that it's hard to get a clear picture of what the truth is. It's frustrating.

[Even though remembering the others is still hard, finding that at least one of his friends had made it through was making him more happy than he had been. That was starting to become apparent to him, at least. Hopefully he could work out the rest of these feelings in time.]
I agree. Something is definitely suspicious about all of this. They're hiding too much for me to trust them.

[There were times when Sheba was very easy to read - this was one of them. Having so many unanswered questions clearly bothered her. There had to be some way to get more information about this place... Some way to verify it...
She sighs a little and brings up a hand to rub at her temple.]
There are some people in this place who I'm pretty sure are trustworthy. I haven't found anything in their minds to suggest that they're a threat, but they know as little about what's really going on here as we do.
I have been told that sometimes the people in charge of this place will speak with us. If they do it in person, I might be able to find something in their minds... Do you think I should try?
[
It wouldn't work, of course, but ICly that hasn't happened for Sheba in this thread, yet, so she doesn't know any better...]
