Setting: Dorms and Cafeteria first, then various floors listed below.
Format: Actionspam, will follow anything but I'm slower with prose.
Summary: The idol discovers new floors, IT'S EXPLORATION TIME. Care to join?
Warnings: Maybe some creepy mentions, but otherwise none yet.



[ First floor dorms - Elevator ]

[ New month in the tower, new set of things to do, and new troubles ahead. Since there's a feeling that it's gonna be pretty chill out there, Sayaka decides to put that cape+scarf combination made the month before to use and wear them, before making her way down to the cafeteria.

Upon walking in the elevator, she notices that there are two more buttons. Floor 61 and... 81? She looks at them a little perplexed. They've gone to such a long way overnight. At least the noises should be over by now... but she's got plenty of time to go out and risk her neck exploring those new floors, and she would rather go with some company this time.

Food comes first, anyway. ]


[ Cafeteria ]

[ ... Hahaha. At least they changed the menu. Funny how they're basically shoving the Valentine's day theme in their throats, in perfect contrast with the enviroment. Sayaka sighs, poking at the heart-shaped pancake with her fork while musing to herself - and whoever might be around at this time in the morning. ]

I'm not sure whether I should call this kind of dedication creepy or not.


[ Floor 51 ]

[ If not for the uncanny mannequins laying around, she could really use this room to better herself with the sewing department. She's not that bad at it, she's used to mend her own clothes because of her old job - but seeing as most things here are not safe unless you roll your sleeves and work on it yourself, she's got to learn more about fending for herself. That, and she needs to improve her knitting skills too. Her handmade scarf looks so stupid the more she looks at it.

For now she'll just look around a bit, before reaching other floors. ]


[ Floor 53 ]

[ Ah, a classroom...? It brings fond memories, as many as the bad ones related to her brief captivity in Hope's Peak courtesy of Monobear. The mess is so unsettling to see, but she's not sure she should touch anything here. Anyway, if that idea about setting a school here is still going to be realized, she might as well tell Hei about this place. In the meantime, she'll just look around. ]


[ Floor 62 ]

[ ... A beach. It looks nice on sight, but she doesn't think that stripping herself and going for a bath is a good idea. Maybe it would be nice if someone organized a party here, but just strolling down the coast for a bit sounds like a better idea right now. It would make for a romantic setting if she actually had someone to share it with, she muses to herself. ]


[ Floor 81 ]

[ A different kind of chill runs through her back, when she bravely steps out just a little to look at everything that extends outside of the tower, staring down at the fog and then up to the stars. She manages to utter something in her stupor, regardless of who's in the floor as well. ]

We've gone really high this time, huh...


[ Floor 82 ]

[ Wait what-- how did this place become a rich styled ballroom and why is there a mask on her face? Sayaka looks around frantically; she can't recognize anyone in the room,... should she just leave, or stay and dance a little? Eventually she opts for the latter. This could be fun, in a weird way... ]

It's really nostalgic!

[ Sayaka turns to look at her, distracted. ]

Nostalgic... how so? Were you living in space?

[heavenscorpse]

For a while. Before I was a person. I can remember it, but it's kind of strange.

But, they're not bad memories either. [She pokes the glass.]

Floor 62

[ Someone doesn't have the same reservations that Sayaka seems to have.

Amberley's taken off her shoes and is currently walking through the sand. When the waves come up, they hit her ankles, washing away some of the sand around her feet as they retreat back into the ocean.

When she spots Sayaka, she gives a friendly wave. ]

Hey there!

[ Hm? Oh... it's the new girl she met that time at the cafeteria. Sayaka sports a little smile. ]

Hello, Amberley. Are you exploring too?

Sure am! When you're cooped up inside you have to take advantage of the new floors.

[ Only a table away Urotsuki is cutting her own pancakes - with a lot of precision and concentration - into tinier hearts. It wouldn't feel right if she just cut it up normally when they spent so much effort making it look nice, okay. ]

[idolizer]

[ Let Maizono peek at the work for a while. By now she acknowledged that this girl is a weird one, and won't question whatever she's doing, ok. It still looks cute. ]

Those are such neat shapes. Are you planning to eat them?

[chainsawn]

Uh-huh. But I'll have to be really careful to be able to keep the heart shapes even in my stomach.. I'll have to swallow without chewing.

[ Even now she just looks at her plate, all focused. She's going to be the end of herself one day.. ]

Floor 81

[ Data was exploring the new floors as well and he would approach Sayaka as she stared down at the fog- Only to tilt his head as he saw the scenery by himself. ]

This is most intriguing. There should not be enough floors for us to be so high.

[idolizer]

[ Familiar face... Sayaka turns to Data and nods. ] Apparently they can build higher than this. I wonder if they're going to get more floors done... and how it is that we can still possess gravity despite everything.

[ A pause. ] It's like we're inside a spaceship right now.

[littlelifeforms]

Technically, judging by our current height, there are at least over one thousand floors below us. They will probably make more in the future.

As for artificial gravity, I suspect there are generators embedded in gravity plating on the ground. Such collection of systems designed to mimic gravity are common where I come from.

[ And since Data takes everything literally- ]

However, your assumption this is like the inside of a starship is incorrect. As second officer in a spaceship, I can attest we rarely stay in such a low orbit around a planet. It would be dangerous both for us and the residents of the planet.

Cafeteria

It's all pretty cliche, isn't it?

[Kidou sets his plate down at her table and sits across from her.]

They really decided to celebrate the holidays this month... I wonder if Ruana likes Valentine's Day?

[idolizer]

... Ruana is in charge this month?

[ Welp. There goes the little appetite she had. ]

floor 53

[For Mondo the classroom is just unsettling. He didn't have fond memories of school to begin with, much less after being locked in Hope's Peak. The mess doesn't help either, it just makes it look like those boarded up classrooms. He's pretty much ready to just leave immediately, but seeing a classmate in there too...]

All's missing's metal plates, huh?

[idolizer]

[ She turns grim when he says that, her eyes gazing the floor. ] It's like they knew about what we went through. I wouldn't be susprised if they took this room straight from our old school.

[mustlovedogs]

Just lucky the bear ain't here no more. Don't think we should stick around here, though.

Floor 81

[silentsacrifice]

[And someone is on the floor, lingering by the stairs he's just stepped off of.]

The construction in this place certainly is efficient.

[His tone is mild, but there's a glare on Itachi's face. He only has vague memories of the "distraction" cast upon them the month before, but he doesn't appreciate being toyed with in such a way. The discovery of the new floors has left him in a sour mood.]

[ She peeks at the stranger with the corner of her eye. He looks angry... quickly, she turns back to look at the stars, speaking politely. ]

It is. They're also pretty fast, unless they already built these floors and now they're unlocking them little by little. Either way, it's rather impressive...

[silentsacrifice]

"Impressive" isn't the word I'd use for it.

[He holds too much bitterness toward the administrators to praise them that easily. This isn't the first time he's seen how fast they can construct things, either, so the mystique of it is wearing thin. Albeit, before, there were never quite so many floors...

He steps closer to the bulging glass, keeping a careful distance away from the girl.]

[Chihiro is close by, eating his own pancake.]

But at least it is something edible.

[idolizer]

True. It looks good, but still...

[ Still poking it, unsure. ]

A bit too full on calories, in my opinion.

... oh... [looks down at his pancakes] ... I didn't think of that... but, since this place has a happen of not giving us food regularly, perhaps it's a good thing to take in more calories now?

[Considering how loud and boisterous a person Maizono is used to Ishimaru being, it's rather odd (possibly unsettling) how he's snuck up on her like this. It's unclear how long he's been there as he sits down next to her, responding to her comment.]

It's excessive, don't you think? People make too big a deal out of such an unnecessary holiday!

[For added fun, Ishimaru's uniform is entirely white today so it's even harder to discern which one he is, if Maizono's heard the news of a second Ishimaru!]

[ ... Indeed, she didn't see him coming. There's no jumping from her, but she does look at him weirdly. Usually, Ishimaru would make his presence known the second he enters the room.

Depending on how her talk with original Ishimaru went (THE THREAD IS STILL ONGOING), she'll either let go of the feeling - or be even more suspicious. It doesn't change the fact that she decided to chat it up as if nothing happened. ]

That's a bit harsh thing to say, Ishimaru-kun... but I must say, it contrasts too much with our environment.
