Setting: Room 01-10, lower floors, location might change
Format: Going with Action first but any format is fine to me.
Summary: Theodore wakes up in the Tower for the first time and is going to explore as much as he can.
Warnings: None, will be updated should anything happen.

[Theodore's eyes are blinking a few times as he lies in a room he doesn't recall to have been at before. It takes a few moments but eventually he sits up and turns his head to look around a little, seeing the three other and apparently occupied beds, then stares down at himself and this... strange attire he does not remember wearing before. He raises a hand to touch the collar around his neck to check if he could take it off, but given what material it was made of, it doesn't seem to be possible at the time being.

It takes another moment until Theodore spots two letters that are addressed at him. The first one he reads explains to him that his world has been destroyed. It's not the first time he has been told something unbelievable and cryptic like this, so of course, he had a hard time believing what is said to him in this letter. The other he reads carefully as it seems to provide more information that the first one.

Once done with reading he gets up to take a look at the trunk. His clothes were there, the Compendium as well and... he smiles as he sees the Jack Frost plush with the ring that has been left by his beloved. Theodore slips the ring over his finger and takes the compendium and his clothes out of the trunk to change back into the so much more familiar attire.]

[The former Velvet Room attendant walks through the hallways, eying them with curiosity and cautiousness. Being in this Tower reminds him slightly of Tartarus, yet not entirely. There was something different, something he can not point at.

He carried the Persona Compendium under one of his arms, he had checked it earlier in his assigned room and found that only the personae he uses in fights had been left in it. It worried him that someone has been able to remove such a great number of them at once. But there isn't much he can do about that at the time being.

Maybe if he speaks to some of the residents of this tower he will be able to find out more...]

Ah, good morning.

[Theodore smiles at the girl and walks towards her, holding the compendium close with one arm.]

Yes, I woke up in one of the rooms here just recently.

[Tohko returned the smile and nodded.]

Ah, alright then! Welcome to the Tower of Animus then. I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. If you want, I could tell you what I know about the Tower. That way, you'll know what you're up against!

It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Theodore. And yes, I had wanted to ask a few things about this place.

[If she wanted to then she could start telling him right away.]

Oh, the pleasure is all mine, Theodore! It's nice to meet you.

[Tohko then thought as she gave her usual infodump on the Tower.]

Five Administrators run the Tower: Dax, who is the most humane of the bunch, Zo, who is a small boy that works for them, Jason, who loves torturing and experimenting on the residents, Riki, a secretive fellow who manages the records, and Ruana, a childish immortal who has been here for thousands of years.

They will lie to you, so take everything they say with a grain of salt. Speaking of which, your universe isn't actually destroyed! There are people here who wouldn't even be able to exist if their universes were destroyed, so don't worry. Your universe is alright.

If you haven't been to the cafeteria yet, make sure you eat the oatmeal there when you do. It tastes horrible, but if you don't eat it, you'll throw up whatever else you try to eat before you finish it. However, you can add things to improve it's taste, and you can eat whatever you want afterwards.

Monsters appear in the Tower at night, and some of the higher floors have monsters that will attack if you draw too close. If you don't know how to fight, make sure you start learning from someone soon.

Death is not permanent here. If you die, you will just wake up in your bed the next day. However, you'll probably get punished if you die too many times, so please be careful.

[Tohko then nodded to herself.]

[That's more information than he has expected but also more than he could have hoped for.]

That's a relieve. This message was more than cryptic.

[That means that she is safe as well if the worlds still exist. Don't mind him ripping that letter that said that their worlds were destroyed.]

[Tohko smiled and chuckled a little at that.]

I know..that letter really doesn't help, and it's a lie, if you think about it. And you're welcome! I'm glad I could help.

[You're being rude by shredding paper and not eating it..what a waste..]

[Why should he eat the paper?]

Could you show me where the cafeteria is, please? I might not need to eat, but if it is necessary for me to do so for my temporary stay here, then I will do so.

[That and the talk about this oatmeal has made him curious. Maybe he could find out what it was made off.]

[Because, to Tohko, paper was the only thing that did taste good. However, at the request, she nodded and smiled.]

Oh, sure! That's not a problem. Follow me!

[And so, Tohko began to walk down the hall and up the stairs, looking back every now and then to make sure that Theodore was following her.]

[Considering the components paper was made off...]

[There is no need to worry, he is following close behind her.]

[Paper has words on it, which are the actual meals. The paper was more akin to a dish that carried them.]

Oh, you're welcome! I'm always happy to help out!

[They quickly ascended the stairs until Tohko walked into the cafeteria, taking a bowl of oatmeal from a nearby drone and putting it on the counter.]

[Theo would probably misunderstand this if she were to tell him. His nose is twitching a little.]

This is the dish I have to eat...?

[Give him a moment, he is doing his best to find out what's inside the oatmeal by telling from the smell only.]

[That's why Tohko doesn't tell people unless they find out or if she's really comfortable with telling them. However, at his question, she nodded and pulled out two spoons from a drawer.]

It is. I know it tastes terrible, but the sooner you eat it, the sooner you can eat something else that actually tastes good. If you want, I'll help you eat it.

[She held out one of the spoons to him.]

It's alright, I will manage to eat all of it. You shouldn't eat it again just because of me.

[He takes one spoon from her and takes the bowl, scooping a bit of it with the spoon. Well then, let's sate his curiosity. Theodore leads the spoon to his mouth and begins to eat.]

Hmm... milk, oat, a bit of salt... there doesn't seem to be anything else in it.

Oh, don't worry! After you eat it a few times, it's not that bad, and it helps if you share it with someone else. Don't worry about me, I'll be alright.

[However, Tohko didn't move, since he had taken the bowl. It felt a little rude to just eat from a bowl someone was holding. However, she did look a little puzzled at that comment.]

..How were you able to tell exactly what they put in the oatmeal?

It's not as bad as I imagined it to be.

[He takes another spoon full. ... No, he can't tell what's inside other than the mentioned ingredients. He has thought that there must have been something that stabilizes the body for the other food that's served.]

It's an ability of mine. Telling the components of food isn't the only thing I am able to do, it can be a scent or just something I touch as well.

[..Oh dear. If Theodore could easily figure out what went into food, he could easily discover her secret. It was best to avoid any meals with him in the near future. So, smiling and burning that information onto her brain, Tohko put her spoon away.]

That's great! I'm glad to hear that. And that's a pretty useful ability. How did you get it?

I always had it. Actually, I'm not human.

[If that calms her down, at least a little. He will just finish that bowl quickly.]

[..That helps, but not much. However, she was pretty cal to begin with.]

Oh, really? What are you then? A spirit of some kind?

[And done. He can't say that it was tasty but at least it wasn't the kind of food that would make his cheeks fall off.]

An entity of Power. But I suppose it doesn't mean much in a place like this.

[And now, he could eat whatever he wanted to get that taste out of his mouth.

Just be prepared for random candies. That sentence makes Tohko look a little..puzzled.]

An entity of Power..you mean a personification of Power? Or something of the sort?

[And this is the first time Tohko has fully encountered something really into the Persona verse. Have fun!~]

[He has eaten worse than this. Much worse. Much. Much. Worse.

A good thing he doesn't need to eat. But if there was something that itches his curiosity then he would try it.]

[Congratulations Tohko!]

[And, for Tohko, normal food tasted like sand, so it was all the same to her anyway. At that, she smiled and nodded.]

Ah, alright then! An Avatar of Power..so, like a god or a deity of power then?

[Maybe those congratulations were a bit soon in coming.]

[Oh dear, those congratulations were really coming too soon.]

Oh no, I'm far from being a deity or a god.

[Tohko sighed and scratched her head, sighing. Usually, she didn't make stupid mistakes like this..what was with her today?]

Sorry..I suppose a personification or 'Avatar' will fit for now then. But..how are people like you created, if you don't mind my asking?

[It's not her fault, such mistakes can be made easily.

Though he has no answer to her question. He's sure his Master know but he... he has no idea.]

[At least he can't imagine being created the same way humans were.]
