1st Request
Characters: Theodore & Open to all
Setting: Room 01-10, lower floors, location might change
Format: Going with Action first but any format is fine to me.
Summary: Theodore wakes up in the Tower for the first time and is going to explore as much as he can.
Warnings: None, will be updated should anything happen.
[Theodore's eyes are blinking a few times as he lies in a room he doesn't recall to have been at before. It takes a few moments but eventually he sits up and turns his head to look around a little, seeing the three other and apparently occupied beds, then stares down at himself and this... strange attire he does not remember wearing before. He raises a hand to touch the collar around his neck to check if he could take it off, but given what material it was made of, it doesn't seem to be possible at the time being.
It takes another moment until Theodore spots two letters that are addressed at him. The first one he reads explains to him that his world has been destroyed. It's not the first time he has been told something unbelievable and cryptic like this, so of course, he had a hard time believing what is said to him in this letter. The other he reads carefully as it seems to provide more information that the first one.
Once done with reading he gets up to take a look at the trunk. His clothes were there, the Compendium as well and... he smiles as he sees the Jack Frost plush with the ring that has been left by his beloved. Theodore slips the ring over his finger and takes the compendium and his clothes out of the trunk to change back into the so much more familiar attire.]
[The former Velvet Room attendant walks through the hallways, eying them with curiosity and cautiousness. Being in this Tower reminds him slightly of Tartarus, yet not entirely. There was something different, something he can not point at.
He carried the Persona Compendium under one of his arms, he had checked it earlier in his assigned room and found that only the personae he uses in fights had been left in it. It worried him that someone has been able to remove such a great number of them at once. But there isn't much he can do about that at the time being.
Maybe if he speaks to some of the residents of this tower he will be able to find out more...]

[Diarmuid nods, but there is still some wariness in his eyes. Up close, the man really doesn't look that much like him at all, but seeing him from a distance had still shaken the servant quite a bit.]
Tell me what you do know, or if it would be quicker, are there specific questions that you have? I don't want to waste your time merely repeating what you have already been told.

[Theodore needs a moment to think about a good question. he had been told about the people who run this place, he had visited the cafeteria as well... ah right.]
I have noticed that many of the residents of this place have lived in other worlds before. Have some been able to leave this place?
no subject
I am Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, First Warrior of the Fianna. The pleasure is mine.
Unfortunately, I don't know that anyone has 'escaped' from this place. While I have only been here a month, I have talked to a great many people and the closest to escape there seems to be are the random disappearances that occur from time to time. The disappearances don't seem to be willing, though, as those left behind have no warning and are often heartbroken to have someone close to them ripped away so suddenly.
[He can't help but think of the girl who he had comforted just recently after the loss of the big brother she so adored.]
It's rumored that these people are returned to their dead worlds, but how true that is is anyone's guess.

[Similar, yes, but other than this there is nothing that would connect the City with this tower. Very strange if you ask him.]
I see.
no subject
[Diarmuid's expression suddenly becomes very alarmed.]
Because surely you cannot be suggesting that there are other places like this tower out there!
no subject
[Sadly, it does seem like there are more places like this.]
There has been a tower in my world, but it certainly wasn't like this one.
no subject
I really hoped that if we found a way to 'defeat' the tower this kind of thing would be gone, but you are saying that there really are other places like this? What is the point? Do you know why you were drawn to that other place and was it destroyed then like they claim our worlds were?
[He wants to ask about the tower on the man's home world, but he's just too caught up in the idea of there being other places like the tower to care at the moment.]
no subject
[Hopefully that answers all his questions. Funny, Theodore thought he would get a few answers but that it would be the other way around...
no subject
Diarmuid sighs and is about to ask another question when he realizes that he's the one who is suppose to be answering instead of the other way around. He blushes slightly in embarrassment.]
Sorry, I'm prying where I shouldn't. I never used to be so curious. I wonder why that has changed so much in this place....
But never mind that, what other questions can I answer for you?
no subject
There is no reason to worry about that, it seems there aren't many who have come from yet another world than their own and especially one that might be similar to this place. You may ask me about it, I will do my best to answer. It is only fair, isn't it?
no subject
[Especially with all the new floors that have just been added. So many of them seem deceptively safe.]
So I will cage my curiosity for now. Tell me, what other answers can I give you?
no subject
[Now, does he have any other questions left... He needs a moment to think about it.]
What kind of monsters are in this place?
no subject
[Diarmuid shakes his head, his expression serious.]
I have seen more horrible creatures in just a month than I ever did growing up at home and anyone who knows much about Ancient Ireland knows that is saying a lot. I have heard some people say that they seem to have drawn monsters from every world that they have drawn people from.
no subject
[Shadows in this tower? That makes it sound even more like Tartarus.]
no subject
no subject
[Theodore raises his eyebrow at that.]
Then may I ask you if you ever heard of beings called Shadows?
no subject
Actually, it was more like one hour. The day they appeared we all lost an hour of time. We went to 'sleep' with about 50 floors and 'woke up' an hour later with many many more. It was discomforting to say the least.
[He pauses to think a for a few minutes before answering. Eventually, though, he has to shake his head.]
That name isn't familiar to me, but I don't know the names of most of the monsters I've fought here. I take it that is what you call the creatures from your world?
no subject
[And that's being said by someone who isn't human, it means a lot.]
Yes, they are born from negative human emotions, the suppressed selves of a human even. They are very aggressive and thus more than dangerous to encounter if you are a mere human only.
no subject
Yes, certainly not normal, but it's something I'm getting used to. Whether that is good or bad considering I have only been here a month, I don't know.
[He pauses as the man gives his explanation. As he does, something flickers across Diarmuid's mind causing his eyes to widen.]
What a minute. That sounds like the shadow Labrys told me about--the dark part of herself that she defeated so that she could gain her partner's aid. Could it be you are from a world similar to hers?
no subject
That's... correct. That is if she was speaking of gaining a Persona.
no subject
[Diarmuid nods.]
That is what she called it. A Persona. She said her name was Ariadne. I don't know if it is a name you would recognize or not. While I haven't met any of her friends yet, Labrys has said that there are several others from worlds similar to her own here. It might be wise for you to try and find her. She might be able to tell you if there are any others from your original world here.
I guess that also means there is a good chance the monsters from your world are here as well. Something to watch out for if you aren't used to fighting them.
no subject
And this is something I don't have to worry about. The Shadows are going to be my smallest problem.
no subject
[A curious, but also concerned look crosses Diarmuid's face.]
Do you just refer to everything else going on in the tower or is there something in specific that is worrying you? If you don't mind telling me, I may be able to help.
no subject
[It's not a great disadvantage, but a disadvantage still.]

Do you know what you need to do to get a box set up if you want one?
I have no idea.
Let me fix that! *Points down*
Thanks!
No problem!
