1st Request
Characters: Theodore & Open to all
Setting: Room 01-10, lower floors, location might change
Format: Going with Action first but any format is fine to me.
Summary: Theodore wakes up in the Tower for the first time and is going to explore as much as he can.
Warnings: None, will be updated should anything happen.
[Theodore's eyes are blinking a few times as he lies in a room he doesn't recall to have been at before. It takes a few moments but eventually he sits up and turns his head to look around a little, seeing the three other and apparently occupied beds, then stares down at himself and this... strange attire he does not remember wearing before. He raises a hand to touch the collar around his neck to check if he could take it off, but given what material it was made of, it doesn't seem to be possible at the time being.
It takes another moment until Theodore spots two letters that are addressed at him. The first one he reads explains to him that his world has been destroyed. It's not the first time he has been told something unbelievable and cryptic like this, so of course, he had a hard time believing what is said to him in this letter. The other he reads carefully as it seems to provide more information that the first one.
Once done with reading he gets up to take a look at the trunk. His clothes were there, the Compendium as well and... he smiles as he sees the Jack Frost plush with the ring that has been left by his beloved. Theodore slips the ring over his finger and takes the compendium and his clothes out of the trunk to change back into the so much more familiar attire.]
[The former Velvet Room attendant walks through the hallways, eying them with curiosity and cautiousness. Being in this Tower reminds him slightly of Tartarus, yet not entirely. There was something different, something he can not point at.
He carried the Persona Compendium under one of his arms, he had checked it earlier in his assigned room and found that only the personae he uses in fights had been left in it. It worried him that someone has been able to remove such a great number of them at once. But there isn't much he can do about that at the time being.
Maybe if he speaks to some of the residents of this tower he will be able to find out more...]

[Sure, he might have seen and talked to a few trolls but they mostly have kept to themselves in Ruby City.]

[Eridan shrugged and then just casually slashed open a palm with a claw. This kid and his claws, he's of the few that files them into actual, functional claws. Because he's crazy like that. He showed Theodore his palm, where the light gash was bleeding a very unmistable jade green.]
Folks like me, you know, grey skin, horns and stuff? We're kind of squishy and sort of bleed in different colors. You'll run into the assholes that still care about that shit, but eh. It generally just means we add variety to the decor when the admins get creative.

I have met them before in Ruby City. Trolls, isn't it? I never thought there would be a difference due to your blood.
no subject
Ruby City? ...anyway, yeah, trolls. That's us. There's a bunch of us running about, and a couple adults too, I think.
[Eridan shrugs.]
Most of them are pretty cool about things, really, but yeah. Blood color is a thing. It's not really a thing anymore, because it doesn't really matter here, and if someone tells you otherwise you should probably punch them in the face or run in the other direction. Or both.
[He snorts.]
But it used to be a thing, back home.

[They all were in the same boat, helping each other out is the least they can do.]
Yes, it's not my home world though.
[He listens closely to him. Theodore would probably just walk in the other direction.]
I am not sure I understand why such differences are even made.

[He waved off Theodore's concern, nodding along to his explanation. Ah, so he was like John. That was weird. Maybe they had something in common? Though Theodore didn't seem to be carrying around little pets like John did. Or maybe he did! He'd ask him a little later, he didn't want to be rude.]
...well, there are differences, between highbloods and lowbloods, I guess? Like how long we live and sh--stuff, but. The system itself is pretty stupid if you think about it. At least I do.
no subject
[Not exactly, actually, no. Eridan is free to ask him whatever he wants, Theo will do his best to answer him.]
I do not see why there is a difference in the first place, except the color. In the end blood remains blood, no matter which color it has.
no subject
Well, highbloods live longer, and they're kinda mean motherfuckers sometimes? Violent and all. And lowbloods live less and aren't quite as assholish most of the time, I guess. I don't know, I'm about right in the middle and my caste's weird anyway.
[He snorted.]
Either way, social order kind of matters jackshit when your entire species is decimated to a dozen or less people. So. It's dumb.
no subject
I wouldn't even worry about that in such a situation.
no subject
[A shrug.]
You never know.

[Don't look at him, bro, this is as best as he's got.]

[At least one thing is clear to Theodore, he's getting along with one of his roommates.]

[He offers a small smile.]
You get used to it, I think. Sounds like a shitty thing to say, but honestly, it's okay to get used to shit, mostly.
no subject
Do I have another choice?
no subject
You can go shithive maggots, possibly murdercrazy too, because we don't have enough of those around here, and then get yourself grisly killed by a good Samaritan that just wants you to go back to your senses.
[Pause.]
It's a surprisingly popular option, admittedly.
