Setting: Room 01-10, lower floors, location might change
Format: Going with Action first but any format is fine to me.
Summary: Theodore wakes up in the Tower for the first time and is going to explore as much as he can.
Warnings: None, will be updated should anything happen.

[Theodore's eyes are blinking a few times as he lies in a room he doesn't recall to have been at before. It takes a few moments but eventually he sits up and turns his head to look around a little, seeing the three other and apparently occupied beds, then stares down at himself and this... strange attire he does not remember wearing before. He raises a hand to touch the collar around his neck to check if he could take it off, but given what material it was made of, it doesn't seem to be possible at the time being.

It takes another moment until Theodore spots two letters that are addressed at him. The first one he reads explains to him that his world has been destroyed. It's not the first time he has been told something unbelievable and cryptic like this, so of course, he had a hard time believing what is said to him in this letter. The other he reads carefully as it seems to provide more information that the first one.

Once done with reading he gets up to take a look at the trunk. His clothes were there, the Compendium as well and... he smiles as he sees the Jack Frost plush with the ring that has been left by his beloved. Theodore slips the ring over his finger and takes the compendium and his clothes out of the trunk to change back into the so much more familiar attire.]


[The former Velvet Room attendant walks through the hallways, eying them with curiosity and cautiousness. Being in this Tower reminds him slightly of Tartarus, yet not entirely. There was something different, something he can not point at.

He carried the Persona Compendium under one of his arms, he had checked it earlier in his assigned room and found that only the personae he uses in fights had been left in it. It worried him that someone has been able to remove such a great number of them at once. But there isn't much he can do about that at the time being.

Maybe if he speaks to some of the residents of this tower he will be able to find out more...]

What's a Persona?

A Persona is a mask, a manifestation of the personality itself. There are only few who have the power to summon them.

Who knows? But I can tell that Beelzebub is a Persona of the Devil Arcana.

Isn't that the 'you're attached to material things and screwing up your life' arcana?

There is more to it than just that. The negative aspects of the Devil Arcana represent the urge to do selfish, impulsive, violent things and be slave to ones' own impulse and feelings. However, it does have a positive side as well, which can also represent a healthy bond or commitment.

Every Arcana has their traits, some are good some are bad.

I don't think there is any arcana like that.

Every arcana has Persona that doesn't have a good reputation.

So these Personas... you can summon them? What happens if you summon me in front of me?

I can summon them. At least those that were left with me.

We can try and see if you like.

[The Persona might not react but Zett might.]

[He opens the book he has been carrying with him the whole time, a blue card appearing in front of him, floating.]

I have chosen!

[He lifts his left hand and brushes the card with it, making it spin and then quickly strikes it with his flat hand, making it break as if glass is shattering.

And behind him appears the Lord of Flies, Beelzebub.]

[And that was it. He didn't look quite like the version that Zett had freed himself from, but Zett recognized that that was indeed a Beelzebub.]

Huh. That's weird. Hey, loser, skull jewelry never looked good on anybody.

[Theodore is very sure that the Persona is happy about what Zett said. He choose not to say anything.]

I kind of hoped he would be more talkative.

[It didn't take long for Beelzebub to vanish again.]

Unlike with others, he does not emerge from me but the compendium. He is not a part of me.

It's weird... You know there's a demon named Persona, so could someone have a Persona as their Persona?

... That's a good question. But I haven't heard of such a Persona before. I am sure master Igor would know more about it.
