Summary: Lucifel's first day in the tower, he awakens to find out that there is something not quite right with him...
Warnings: None at the moment.

[Sleeping was something Lucifel has never done before in his life since he was created by God. So it's a great surprise for him to find himself lying in a bed and especially being somewhere that is neither Heaven nor Earth. Well, as surprised as he could be.

When he was finally able to move he feels the collar around his neck, trying with all his strength to get it off but fails. Not even a second later his eyes are staring at himself. Heaven, whoever made him wear this suit has not even the slightest sense for fashion... where are his clothes anyways? His cellphone seems to be gone as well.

The archangel then notices two letters, both were directed at him. The one that said that his home world got destroyed just got a look of disbelief from him. Sure, whatever makes the one who sent this happy. The other he found just as hard to believe. Then again, who would make such a joke?

At least one thing was true. The trunk had all of his belongings inside, his clothes, which he quickly changed back into, and even his cellphone. Said phone is shut off for a reason unknown to him and he couldn't make it work either. He would figure something out later and slides his phone into the right back-pocket of his jeans.

Lucifel lifts his left hand, he wouldn't stay here longer than necessary, then flicks his fingers to get himself home.

Nothing happens.]

You must be kidding me...

[He gives it one, two, three more tries and he is still here. Alright. Looks like he is forced to take a look around.

Honestly, he is not amused.]

[To Tohko, history was simply the story of the world, so the two overlapped quite a bit.

At that, Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

I'm glad you think it was..but if it's not how things work, then it needs to be tossed out or rewritten. Having incorrect speculation here doesn't help much of anyone.

Of course. I did mention that before. There are two people here, men named Wilhelm. Wilhelm wouldn't be able to exist if his universe was destroyed, as he's tied into it, and Allen would die if Wilhelm was destroyed, as he's tied into Wilhelm's existence.

If you're planning on talking to Wilhelm though, be very careful. He'll tell you the truth, but he's a chessmaster. Don't accept any deals he offers you. You'll just end up a chess piece in his game.

Well..no, I didn't. For one thing, you didn't ask, and I thought you might have other questions to ask.

[The details always interested Tohko, but she didn't want to bog people down. She knew that her ramblings could get annoying sometimes.]

However, it's good to hear that you won't accept any deals he offers you. I can promise that he will come to collect them eventually.

But..if you just want to play a game of chess with him every now and then, there's nothing wrong with that.

[Tohko overthought a lot of things, for better or worse. It was why she was able to keep up with Wilhelm sometimes. At that, Tohko sighed and nodded.]

I know. And there's a reason I call Wilhelm the 'Chessmaster of the universe'. Just don't let down your guard.

[She then nodded again.]

How come you know he makes deals with people in the first place? And what does he usually want from people in return?

[That's why Lucifel is trying to find out as much as possible should he ever encounter this guy.]

[At the question, Tohko sighed. Time to own up to doing something foolish. Or, at least, what seemed foolish in hindsight.]

..Because he offered to find candy for people during the Halloween event in exchange for favors that he would collect later..and he would probably help people if they asked in exchange for things.

As for what those things are, I don't know. Being a chess piece in his game, probably. I know he's planning on using people to help lure out the Administrators, but how..I don't know. He'll probably also use people to help..help a soul wake up.

[Tohko wouldn't have made the deal..if she had known what Wilhelm was at the time. She sighed and nodded.]

Yes. There's a robot in this tower named KOS-MOS. She has an A.I. of her own..but a woman named Mary's soul is in her. Waking her up is important to Wilhelm's goal.

[Lucifel sighed. As if this place wasn't complicated enough, there even there people who brought their issues from home with them.]

..I don't see how it did..but I guess you've had some experience with chessmasters before.

Anyways..the second case that proves the Administrators are lying would be Allen, a worker of Wilhelm's. He's tied to Wilhelm's consciousness and would die if Wilhelm did..but he's still living, so there's no way Wilhelm in his universe could have died. So, therefore, his universe is fine too.

..Now that you mention it, I'm not sure whether the Allen and Wilhelm that I know are from separate timelines. But it would make sense if they were.
