Summary: In which April tries to be a good girlfriend and tries to cheer Aleph up after what has happened over the past day or so.

[Despite April's general lack of social skills and tact, she did like to make people she cared about happy. And even April could tell that Aleph wasn't happy, so of course she felt that she needed to do something about this.

Which is why later that day, Aleph will end up being dragged to the media room by April, who is looking equal parts determined and nervous about this.] ... I also made some food too, and it's none of that cafeteria stuff.

[and she'll point at said food in a basket when they walk into the room.]

[He blushes a little.] I can't win against that.

[She grins at him, also blushing a little] Hehe, I'll make sure to use that, then.

Good. [Pause. Then she motions for him to lean down.]

[He leans down, red but smiling.]

[And she's just going to give him a gentle kiss, her own face red.] ... I, uh, just felt doing that.

Hehe, I'm glad you think so.

... So, um, have I been able to help at all?

You've helped a lot. I owe you.

You don't owe me anything. I got to spend time with you and make you happy, so that's more than enough.

[She gives him a bright smile back, before she starts to look faintly nervous.] ... S-so, um, did you have anything else you needed to do today?

[And guess who looks obviously happy with this news.] Eh, really?

[Then she coughs awkwardly and rubs the back of her neck sheepishly.] O-oh, um, you d-don't have to if you don't want to.
