[Mao puts up with many things in his life, but he does not put up with people taking his research notes!!!! He screams across the room at the person holding them.]

Well, it certainly lends credence to his claims of being a demon. Though nobility, he doubts, unless one of the three kings has begun letting children lay claim to their lands. Not that Karasu cares particularly. It changes nothing, these notes just got that much more interesting to him.]}

He'd thought the elder of the Toguro brothers in general had been creepy. But this kid. And the prospect of vines as limbs considering his end. Well. There were limits and he'd been pushed past them. The notes find a new home in his coat pocket, and he's on his way out the door. He needs a place away from this child to peruse these things, then possibly he can hold a halfway intelligent conversation with him.
