Characters: HK-47 (
damn_meatbags) and OPEN
Setting: All over (backdated to Feb. 7th before the event)
Format: Action but you’re welcome to prose it up
Summary: Is the tower ready for a Sith Lord constructed Assassin droid?
Warnings: Insulting, sarcastic, crude droid with a superiority complex and an otherwise low opinion of others.
Room 1-04
[The droid doesn’t really care for the sleep paralysis. Not at all. In fact, as he runs a self-diasgnostic on himself, he’s busy cursing all meatbags everywhere because, obviously, they’re responsible. And as soon as he gets up, he’s moving around and examining everything. Eventually, he gets to his trunk and opens it up. If anything, his eyes glow a bit more as she spots one of his favorite weapons tucked inside as well as several additions to improve his combat efficiency and a hydrospanner.
Well, hopefully his Master was here to perform a few upgrades on him. HK-47 always liked getting upgrades. So long as they weren’t from some chuba-faced fish head like Yuka Laka.
Yes, he read the notes. No, he doesn’t believe them. He always shuts down whenever his master dies and he gets reactivated by a new one. No new master is here so obviously this is false.
And then off he goes, to explore the tower! Feel free to welcome a rusty red colored droid carrying an unnecessarily large blaster.]
Floor 71
Observation: This looks to be the insides of some large meatbag creature.
[So he pokes at the nearest twitching piece of bloody flesh and watches it pulse and quiver with what could be considered fascination. Morbid fascination. Ah well, it doesn’t hold his attention for long and then he leaves.]
Floor 59
[And here, one will find the droid examining various instruments of torture. They’re all primitive in comparison to the techniques he was programmed with but it was interesting to see how much meatbags had advanced over the years. He’s not even sure that anyone in the Republic or among the Sith that remember these things. In fact, he’s not sure it’s if recorded in any historical database.
Stupid meatbags.]
Floor 19
[Watch as this droid holds a book but just one of it’s covers and pokes at it.]
Statement: This is an extremely primitive method of data storage. Whoever is in charge of this place should be ashamed.
Everywhere else
[You might find HK-47 killing monsters or exploring. Most likely you‘ll find him killing things though. He really enjoys killing things.]

Re: 19
He doesn't miss T3 though. He never misses T3. Stupid astromech droid.]

[Her book was lowered a bit more, and she continued staring]
You don't like books?
no subject
[No, he doesn't. Books are stupid and waste space.]

[Ugh.]
Addendum: And all data is stored in my memory core.

[Her book was left behind, and she was up and moving closer.]
Ah, or another planet?!

[In the year 3,959 BBY but dates were recorded differently in his time and we really don't want to run through all the math.]

[Well, none of that made sense... But it still sounded pretty interesting anyway. It was probably the future anyway.]
So Master Revan is like your parent?

Vicente approaches the metal thing from the shadows.]
And what do we have here?
Re: Floor 59
Answer: We have nothing, meatbag.
[Oh, and the smartassedness begins already.]
Statement: I am an HK-series protocol droid.
Re: Floor 59
[He can snark too.]
Nor am I familiar with "protocol droids".
Re: Floor 59
[So very fragile. Why, he could probably kill you with one shot from his blaster!]
Explanation: Protocol droids are used to translate various languages across the galaxy to prevent misunderstandings. Especially during political negotiations.
Re: Floor 59
[And yet what would a machine used for translating be looking at torture devices for?]
Re: Floor 59
Statement: The assistance of a protocol droid is often used in the exploration of ancient ruins.
Re: Floor 59
[Vicente goes over to one of the torture devices and examines it.]
Quite fascinating devices, wouldn't you agree?
Re: Floor 59
Answer: They are.
Statement: However the use of these forms of torture is incredibly primitive and no longer used by either the Republic or Sith.

They've got plenty to be ashamed of, aside from the books!
Re: Floor 19
[He totally means as a protocol droid. And no other suspiciously illegal functions.]

[Somehow she doesn't think trying to read the robot's mind is going to work, so she's not even going to try.]
Did the Administrators give you a job to do here, too?
no subject
[Sort of.]

[Protocol droid? Programming? ...this is an entirely foreign concept to her...]
Ummm, okay then. Is this Revan person here in the Tower..?
no subject
Answer: Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to locate Master Revan.
