9th Recipe - Surprise Banquet [Open]

Summary: Kazumi is running around trying to cook things for all the newcomers so they don't have to just eat what's on the menu! Also, stocking up the other kitchen

[Cafeteria]

[A young girl with short hair is hurrying in and out of the kitchen, greeting various people and coming back out with various dishes. Anyone who isn't seated and eating yet, she'll approach, or if she knows you, she'll approach anyway! Newcomer or Tower Resident, she wants to make sure everyone can have what they want - the menu's not that bad this month, but everyone always has different preferences, right? Though, all the guests have to make sure they have their oatmeal first!]

Hi! Are you hungry? What can I get for you?

[Cafeteria Kitchen]

[There's about eight different things cooking in here at any one time as Kazumi runs in and out and cooks various things while working around the staff. She's doing surprisingly well considering how much is going on! But she looks like she's about to run herself ragged...]

[Floor 60 - Deluxe Kitchen]

[Later in the day, one might find Kazumi here... there's an enormous pile of foods here, mostly things like sacks of flour and sugar and so on, but also vegetables and fruits and meat. It looks like she basically stole everything out of the cafeteria...]

Ummm, now how to organize this...?

Can't argue that. What did you do when there were a bunch of nutrition bars and shit though?

Well, there's still some foods that can be gathered on different floors, and Saber helped hunt things down.

[Ahaha... Saber.... yeah Jade's not gonna talk about That Time She Got Stabbed.]

You mean like the forest floors and shit? Or are you a regular prehistoric hunter at this point?

[Kazumi looks away for five minutes and she's stabbing the guests it was so upsetting]

Mm, yeah those floors, or the farm one we can grow some things on. It's a little dangerous, since monsters can appear, but I think it's better than people going to restaurant.

[reddeadvirtuoso]

[Maybe one day the stabbings will be under control.]

Yeah I'm pretty sure there's no meal that's ever worth a fetch quest like that. Going old home on the farm sounds like a lot better idea. 'Long as a giant space whale doesn't destroy it I guess.

Do you even know how to farm?

Giant space whale? Do they have monsters like that here?

Um, well, not exactly! I mean, I know how to care for a few vegetables and the like, but not really farming on a whole!

Oh, yeah-- there was this big ass one that crashed into the Tower a while back. Had all sorts of freaky monsters pouring out of its mouth like nobody's business. The guys in charge had to actually come here and fix it.

[She looked thoughtful for a moment, before she said anything again.] I have no idea how to do that shit either, but you could probably find a book on it if it matters so much.

Oh geez, that sounds scary! Where did it even come from...?

[Thinking that things like that might just be... floating around out there...]

Eheh, it might be a good idea, if these months without food are going to keep happened.

I have legitimately no fuckin' clue. Apparently it's a native thing to this world? Which is kinda horrifying on its own. The guys in charge said they thought it was extinct.
