9th Recipe - Surprise Banquet [Open]

Summary: Kazumi is running around trying to cook things for all the newcomers so they don't have to just eat what's on the menu! Also, stocking up the other kitchen

[Cafeteria]

[A young girl with short hair is hurrying in and out of the kitchen, greeting various people and coming back out with various dishes. Anyone who isn't seated and eating yet, she'll approach, or if she knows you, she'll approach anyway! Newcomer or Tower Resident, she wants to make sure everyone can have what they want - the menu's not that bad this month, but everyone always has different preferences, right? Though, all the guests have to make sure they have their oatmeal first!]

Hi! Are you hungry? What can I get for you?

[Cafeteria Kitchen]

[There's about eight different things cooking in here at any one time as Kazumi runs in and out and cooks various things while working around the staff. She's doing surprisingly well considering how much is going on! But she looks like she's about to run herself ragged...]

[Floor 60 - Deluxe Kitchen]

[Later in the day, one might find Kazumi here... there's an enormous pile of foods here, mostly things like sacks of flour and sugar and so on, but also vegetables and fruits and meat. It looks like she basically stole everything out of the cafeteria...]

Ummm, now how to organize this...?

Oh, great! Hehe, you can put 'em all in that bowl and bring 'em over here!

[Kazumi had a few crepes already peeled off and more cooking, as well as a bowl of whipped cream where she was working]

Okay!

[She brings over the large bowl, careful not to spill any of the fruit before setting it down on the workspace next to Kazumi.

Aradia looks at the crepes with great interest, they smell great.]

Here, this is pretty easy! Just take a crepe, lay it on a plate, fill it with some fruit and whipped cream, then fold it up like this!

[Tachi demonstrated, soon making a nicely folded little crepe.]

And then you can drizzle some sauce on!

[Thanks to the valentines stuff, there was plenty of chocolate for making a sauce with]

[The only good thing about the valentines menu.

She places some strawberry chunks on the crepe before covering them with a little more whipped cream than necessary. She carefully wraps it up and puts some chocolate sauce on.

The floppy crepe is a little difficult to pick up, and she feels awkward as she takes a tentative bite.]

It's tasty!

Heheh, isn't it? It's sweet and fluffy and you can even have it for breakfast!

[Aradia is too busy stuffing the rest of the crepe in her mouth to reply. She chews thoughtfully, savoring the sweet flavors combining.]

You're really good at cooking.

Eheh, thanks... I really like being able to make people happy with this sort of thing.

I think it's very nice of you to cook for everyone as well, everyone should be able to eat things this delicious.

That's what I think! I mean, things can be bad enough here as is, so we might as well try to brighten it up in the ways we can, right?
