Characters: Allen Ridgeley and OPEN for the first prompt, close to Shion Uzuki (

uzuki) for the second.
Setting: The meadow floor and then Shion's room.
Format: I'm tired and lazy, so I'll be starting with action.
Summary: It's Valentine's day and Allen is determined to do something nice for his girlfriend.
Warnings: Ummm...tooth rotting sap, the dorkiest attempts at flirting ever and horrible fashion choices?

[Meadow floor]

*Early in the morning, Allen can be caught wandering around the meadow floor in his Vector uniform, collecting flowers. He'll occasionally stop and glance back toward the staircase, as if there's someone he doesn't want to catch him, but he otherwise seems to be in a good mood.

[Shion's room]

*By the time he shows up at Shion's door, Allen has changed into a different outfit. His hands seem to be empty, but he knocks on the door, a little tentatively, anyway.*

Well, I think it is. I'm sure she'll like it! Don't worry. She didn't seem to be the type of person who wouldn't like something like this.

[A few flowers here, a few there..]

It's just too bad someone else used up most of the chocolate before I got to the kitchen.

[..At that, Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

..I'm sorry..I used a lot of the chocolate in the cafeteria because it was convenient.

Ah, don't worry about it. Maybe they'll have more later and I can call it a late present.

Hopefully they will..if I see a few extra pieces, I'll snag them and bring them to you, alright?

Thanks. And I'll put them in my trunk so I won't be tempted to try them myself.

[At that, Tohko chuckled.]

That does sound like a good plan..but if you do end up eating them, I can just always grab some more from the cafeteria.

Don't worry, if I'm going to eat some myself, I'll wait until after I've given Shion hers.

*As delicious as it is, and as much as he loves sweets.*

Ah, alright then. That sounds like a good plan..

[Tohko then smiled.]

Shion's lucky to have a nice guy like you.

*He waves a hand dismissively.*

I'm nothing that special.

[Tohko had to bite back a chuckle at that.]

Allen, you're one of Wilhelm's workers, and you're probably one of the few that would go against him if he did something way out of line. I would say that you're pretty special. And you're a pretty nice person!

Being a decent person who's willing to stand up for what he believes in doesn't make me an amazing person. And as for being a Testament...I only ended up in this position because I messed up the plans of the guy who was supposed to get it.

[Tohko sighed at that.]

..You may not think it does, but I think so. And messing up this person's plans, even if you didn't mean to, might not have been such a bad thing. Maybe..

I know it's not a bad thing, the guy was a jerk. But that doesn't change the fact that I was just the backup plan.

You were the backup plan. But, due to things changing, so did your role, and so did your involvement in everything.

Still, I didn't get the job because I'm outstanding. I got it because something I did kept the guy it was meant for from dying and I happened to be a Shining Will too.

[Tohko sighed.]

But, if I understand it correctly, having a Shining Will is pretty impressive just by itself. And the fact that you were in the right place at the right time is also pretty astounding.

..Of course, this is just my personal opinion. You don't have to agree with me.

It is unusual, but it doesn't necessarily say much about the person.

That's true. However, that's not the only thing I said that made you unique or special.

[Tohko picked a few more flowers as she talked.]

I like to think that any decent person in a position to actually do something would be willing to stand up for what they think is right.

[Allen, if the situation wasn't awkward already, you would be getting a headpat. Or a shoulder pat.]

I'd like to think so too! After all..it's hard to just stand around and not help if you can do something to help out.

So I'll bet a lot of people would be willing to go against Wilhelm if they thought it would make a difference.

I would think the most people would go against Wilhelm if they knew about him and if they thought it would make a difference.

So the only real difference there between me and most people is that I'm in a situation where I have at least some influence.

Well, that and, until someone like you or in a position similar to yours lets them know about Wilhelm, they're utterly clueless as to what's going on.
