Setting: The meadow floor and then Shion's room.
Format: I'm tired and lazy, so I'll be starting with action.
Summary: It's Valentine's day and Allen is determined to do something nice for his girlfriend.
Warnings: Ummm...tooth rotting sap, the dorkiest attempts at flirting ever and horrible fashion choices?

[Meadow floor]

*Early in the morning, Allen can be caught wandering around the meadow floor in his Vector uniform, collecting flowers. He'll occasionally stop and glance back toward the staircase, as if there's someone he doesn't want to catch him, but he otherwise seems to be in a good mood.

[Shion's room]

*By the time he shows up at Shion's door, Allen has changed into a different outfit. His hands seem to be empty, but he knocks on the door, a little tentatively, anyway.*

[It didn't take too long for Shion to answer the door, connection gear in hand. It was obvious she'd been working, probably longer than she should have been, but she smiled anyway when she saw him.]

Oh, Allen. I didn't expect you here.

[STARING AT THE HAT OMG ALLEN]

*There is nothing wrong with his hat okay?*

You lost track of the date, didn't you?

[uzuki]

Hm? What do you mean?

[That would be a yes.]

[temptestament]

*Sigh. Oh Shion.*

It's Valentine's day.

[uzuki]

It is?

[Out of habit, she looked down at her console, then realized that it no longer read the date thanks to the lack of UMN.]

I'm sorry Allen, I got so busy I didn't realize. And I guess it's been a while since I had a reason to remember it.

[temptestament]

I haven't exactly had a lot of reason to pay attention to it before this year either.

*Shaking his head.*

And Albedo thinks I'm a workaholic. You're not too busy to take a break, are you?

[uzuki]

Oh, no. I was just working on some virus protection stuff for KOS-MOS. It's not that easy with just a the connection gear, but...

[BUT ever since she had last spoken to Axel, it was pretty much all she had done.]

But, I can take a break.

[temptestament]

Good, I'd hate to think I wasted this morning gathering these.

*And suddenly he's holding a bundle of flowers of assorted types, though most prominent are some purple daisies.*

[uzuki]

Allen...

[She stared at them for a moment, then smiled up at him. But the smile slowly degenerated into tears. And instead of taking the flowers, or doing anything else, she quickly moved forward and hugged onto him tightly. She buried her face in his unfashionable shirt, so her voice was a little muffled.]

Thank you, Allen.

[temptestament]

Whoa-

*Well, that wasn't the reaction he was expecting. But he puts his arms around her anyway and returns the hug just as tightly.*

They're just flowers...

[uzuki]

I'm sorry it's just...

[She pulled back after a moment, rubbing her eyes.]

It's just that it's really sweet, and you thought to get those flowers...

["And I don't deserve it." No, she wouldn't say that. No matter how true she felt it was. It really was a wonderful gesture, and she wasn't going to ruin it.]

*You're lucky he doesn't make a habit of reading minds, Shion. As it is, he just uses one hand to brush aside her bangs.*

Honestly, I wish I could do more, but the kitchen didn't have any chocolate.

Meadow Floor

[Since the Tower had been a little hectic recently, Tohko had decided to take a few books to the meadow floor to try and relax and read.

However, when she saw Allen gathering a few flowers, she smiled and wandered over to him.]

Oh, good morning, Allen! Who are you gathering flowers for?

Meadow Floor

*He glanced over at her, scratching the back of his head. He idly wondered where she'd learned his name, but he could bring that up later.*

My, ah, my girlfriend. *Did you know ghosts can blush, Tohko?* I'm not sure if you know her or not, her name's Shion Uzuki.

Meadow Floor

[Tohko thought that they probably could, but if she had any doubts, they didn't exist now.

At that explanation, she nodded.]

Ah, alright then. And I know Shion..she's the one who told me what your real name actually was. If you want, I could help you gather a few flowers for her.

Meadow Floor

I was wondering about that, though I'm not surprised to find out you heard from her.

*He doesn't seem to perturbed by it, though.*

And I'm not going to drag you into helping, but you can if you want. I'm especially looking for these.

*He separates a specific type of flower from the bundle to show to her.*

Meadow Floor

Well..to be honest, I didn't ask her. She just mentioned 'Allen' and the name connected so closely to who I thought was 'Azazello' that I knew it couldn't just be a coincidence.

[Tohko's mind runs on weird bits of logic like this.

However, she smiled at the flower and nodded.]

Shion's for Shion, huh? That's pretty clever. Alright then! I'll help you gather them!

[Tucking her books under one arm, Tohko started searching for the flowers and picking them when she saw them.]

Meadow Floor

I don't think it's that clever, but I'm hoping she'll appreciate it anyway.

*He puts the flower back with the rest and goes back to his own search.*

Well, I think it is. I'm sure she'll like it! Don't worry. She didn't seem to be the type of person who wouldn't like something like this.

[A few flowers here, a few there..]

It's just too bad someone else used up most of the chocolate before I got to the kitchen.

[..At that, Tohko sighed and scratched her head.]

..I'm sorry..I used a lot of the chocolate in the cafeteria because it was convenient.

Ah, don't worry about it. Maybe they'll have more later and I can call it a late present.

Hopefully they will..if I see a few extra pieces, I'll snag them and bring them to you, alright?

Thanks. And I'll put them in my trunk so I won't be tempted to try them myself.

*Enoch wandered the floors, lost in his returned memories. He had forgotten something important, and now that he remembered, could he see past the pain?

He looked up at movement as he passed the meadow floor, to see a younger man picking flowers.
