Summary: Minato wakes up to a new job and went on his first day. Afterwards, he heard a tape recorder (Howl) when he check the mail room and slowly begins to feel something...
Warnings: Eventually obsessive love for the poor person, Minato style. Otherwise, will update with more warnings as needed.

[It was yet another day in Minato’s tower life. He wasn’t sure what to expect, but all hopes for a quiet day was put on hold when he found the notice in his room.

Seemed like he was assigned a job...to garbage duty?

He wondered how safe this will be. It certainly seem simple, but living this long in the tower made him paranoid. Well, better tell his roommates about his new job.]

I got assigned to garbage duty, so it’ll be a part of my routine for the time being.

[If he smells, don’t blame him.]

Floor 55 – Boiler/Incinerator
[If anyone’s near the floor, they will see Minato carrying a large garbage bag and walking over to the incinerator. He wouldn’t mind talking, just don’t mess around with him so near the flames.]

Floor 99 – Crystal Room
[Compared to the feeling of hollowness from floor 100’s illusions and floor 98’s myriad of pipes, the crystals that filled up the room was pleasant, not very intricate in layout and solid to touch.

Minato slowly explored the almost cavern like room, admiring the beautiful crystals one by one, but keep his distance from them. He didn’t know if the crystals were safe to touch or not. But he can look at them.]

Floor 78 - Mailroom - Locked to Suzaku Kururugi
[After visiting the crystal filled room, Minato swing by the mail room to check his box. A part of him was a little amused by how he ended up with such a number on his mailbox: #4444.

As he checked, he can faintly hear a sound playing in the background. Minato paused and glance around.]

[Minato stare at Suzaku.]

...Are you sure?

[swordofzero]

[He nods again] I am. It's fine. [Valentine's day is full of painful memories; awful ones from last year, and fun, happy ones from a time before...

Before a lot of things happened]

Alright.

[Minato's quiet for a moment, before he asks.]

Are you doing anything right now?

[swordofzero]

Not at the moment no.

[evokingfool]

[A smile.] Then...you don't mind if I spend time with you?

[swordofzero]

Of course not. [He nods politely at him]

[evokingfool]

[Minato's gaze turn to the shard in Suzaku's hand.] ...What's that?

[swordofzero]

[Suzaku looked down at it] Part of a weapon, one that inflicted wounds that could not be healed. Apparently when it was shattered all the wounds closed...

[evokingfool]

...And why do you have it?

[swordofzero]

It was a valentine's gift... from a friend. To remind me that even the most bleakest situations can be reversed... [He's still not sure what to think about the note that came with it...]

[evokingfool]

...Valentine's.

[His eyes narrow, as Minato stare at Suzaku.]

Get rid of it.

[swordofzero]

[He blinks] It's alright, I doubt it's dangerous, it's not a gesture that is incredibly unlike him. [So he doesn't think it is some twisted game of Ruana's]

[evokingfool]

That's not it, Suzaku-san. I don't want you to get anything from anyone.

[His tone is getting dangerous.]

[swordofzero]

[Um... Suzaku slips the shard into his pocket and frowns] Are you alright Minato? [Because that tone... and the words, are nothing like him.]

[evokingfool]

No, I'm not. [How could he, knowing other people are giving Suzaku things? Things he's not aware of?]

[swordofzero]

[A worried expression on Suzaku's face as he stepped closer] What's wrong?

[evokingfool]

I don't like knowing other people are giving you things. I don't want them to give you anything.

[He take a step closer.]

[swordofzero]

[Um... Suzaku frowned, because why would Minato mind that?]

I don't understand.

[evokingfool]

I don't want you to be with anyone.

[He step closer and reach out to grab Suzaku.]

[swordofzero]

Minato? [He doesn't struggle, because he's still confused.] What do you mean?

[evokingfool]

I want you to be with me.

[Stay with him, never leave his side, never make him feel lonely again, never--]

[swordofzero]

Minato... [What on earth was going on? Some kind of trick? Another game?] Let me go.

[evokingfool]

No. I won't let you go, Suzaku-san. [Never, never, never, never]

[swordofzero]

Did you eat anything strange? [Slowly trying to back away now] Did something happen? Anything unusual?

[evokingfool]

[And Minato will just keep on getting closer.] No, I haven't. No chocolates like last year.
