Cookies and a song~ Open and backdated to the 14th!
Characters: Orihime Inoue or
pellegri and you ♥
Setting: Orihime: Any of the safer floors between 1 and the dorms~ Pellegri: Any floors between 43 and the dorms.
Format: Any!
Summary: Orihime has cookies to give away and Pellegri is compelled to flirt. SHOULD END WELL, right?
Warnings: Starting out with none!
[Orihime]
Orihime had gotten up earlier than normal, and had found the kitchen monster free, thankfully. She worked for some time, melting down some of the chocolate candies to prepare some delicious chocolate cookies, which she topped with all sorts of candies. She made up a small plate for each of her friends, and piled the extras on another plate. Because what better way to make new acquaintances than with sugar?
After presenting Tohko with her cookies, she set out to find a good majority of the people she had met so far, with one exceptionsorry Kadaj! She went all through the tower, searching out Asch, Liquid, Wriggle, Urotsuki, and Eleanor in particular. Then finally ended up back in her room with a plate for Azula... Which she would simply leave on her nightstand if she were out~
[Pellegri]
Being assigned a job by the administrators really hadn't bothered Pellegri. Not that she particularly enjoyed the idea of doing them any service, but honestly, it put her at ease to have a purpose. And since figuring out a way to rebel against the administrators, or simply get back home, was so slow going, working in the prison was actually a welcome distraction. And maybe a little reminiscent of home, now that her former employer was absent.
But Valentine's Day hadn't been going entirely well for her. She was restless and bored, and her shift was dragging on. Until she found the strange tape player on the floor of one of the cells. If she hadn't previously been close to someone who was obsessed with ancient technology she might not have even known what it was, or considered it garbage and thrown it away.
BUT, as luck would have it, she knew what it was, and curiously played a fragment of the song. It wasn't something she would have chosen to listen to, so it was turned off rather quickly, but she had heard enough. Her shift was coming to an end as well, so she left for the dorms, idly hoping to find someone in particular.

Liquid-san?

What is it?
[He didn't even take his eyes off the book he was reading. This was...Orihime, was it? The little Japanese redhead that was stranger than Otacon.]
no subject
[That's her! AND HEY COOKIES. Okay, she wasn't totally rude. She didn't shove them in his face, or anything. She simply held the plate out to him, and stared at him, waiting for a response.]
no subject
[He actually looked up from the book at that asinine (to him) declaration, glancing from the cookies to Orihime and back again with a deadpan stare.]
Is this some sort of joke?
no subject
[She didn't move. In fact, she would hold this plate like this until he gave in and took them. As long as it took!]

Floor 6 (w/ Orihime); COOKIES!?!?!
As his eyes became visible, one could clearly see that his left eye bore a rather strange scar that looked like it was more of a brand than a cut. His (her?) intense look was alert and actually relatively hostile.
"....."
This glare gradually lessens by the second, however, to something more neutral--or, more likely, a look of relief.
ALL THE COOKIES
"Are you okay?"
no subject
Better resort to the default response.
Mr. Walker uses his free hand to scratch a small part of his face. "Oh, me?...I'm fine, really."
no subject
Maybe he was confused too. If that were the case, he might deny his injuries forever! She she moved forward, closer to him, trying to get a look at the side he had been holding.
no subject
Who was this girl, anyway?
In the midst of this, a little something caught his attention...
"Are those cookies?"
no subject
It took a moment, but she decided she would distract him with cookies, then heal him!

[Orihime]
Seriously. Arturia will eat anything cooked well. Anything. The fact it was cookies was just a bonus.
"Hello," she said as she approached the teenager, "Would you like any assistance?"
no subject
Orihime nodded quickly. Making cookies wasn't exactly difficult, but Orihime wouldn't turn down company. In fact, cooking all alone in the kitchen was a little lonely. And this woman had seemed nice when she spoke before.
"Yeah! Do you like cookies? I'm making extra so we can have some too!"
no subject
badlyand then Shirou had proven exemplary at the task. Orihime's enthusiasm was a welcome change to the melancholy of most people she ran into and the cookies did sound tempting."I like everything so, yes, I like cookies, though it wouldn't be right of me to take any if you haven't given them to who they're meant for first."
no subject
In fact, she pushed a plate with some of the freshest cookies toward Arturia. They were still warm and delicious! She hadn't even stuck candies in them yet.
no subject
So.... so good.
"You're an excellent baker, Orihime."
no subject
She took another plate, and began jamming all manner of candies into the tops of the cookies. Chalky hearts, cinnamon bears... Anything really.
"You can have as many as you want, okay? The only part that really took a while was melting chocolate candies. But even that was't that hard!"
If you didn't count two pots of scorched chocolate! But, whatever she had figured it out~

[After passing him, she stopped and turned around, frowning.]
Sorry to bother you, but do you know Asch?

no subject
[She scowled just like Asch always did.]
He looks just like Luke-san too!
no subject
Sorry, I think I'd remember if I knew someone like that. But I'll keep an eye out for him!
no subject
[She thrust a plate full of chocolate and candy cookies forward.]
