Prologue: The Fall of Magvel...? [open!]
Characters: Amelia and YOU! Yes you! Right over there!
Setting: The Dorms in general (Beginning in 2-07) and then Floor 1!
Format: Leading off with action brackets but I'm cool with everything!
Summary: A young knight and newcomer to the Tower waking up and trying to wrap her head around everything that's suddenly happening. Give her a poke?
Warnings: Oatmeal. Although no seriously, none that I can think of! I'll keep this updated if something unexpected goes down.
Room 2-07 and the Dorms
[... this was not where she'd fallen asleep. To be fair it was somewhat more comfortable than where she remembered being, given after the battle with Formortis the poor girl had passed out from sheer exhaustion and stone floors were not the most forgiving surface to rest on. But somehow she couldn't shake the feeling she'd missed something. A feeling only reinforced by the strange room she had awoken in, the lack of equipment, the bizarre outfit and collar she was now wearing... something was wrong.
And then she found the letter, the contents of which left her sitting on the side of her bed staring blankly at it for a good several minutes. But... they'd won! There was no way the world could have been destroyed! This had to be some manner of trick... but then how did she end up here? Who brought her here? And for that matter where in blazes was she anyways? After several moments of near panic she began to calm herself back down, discipline beginning to kick back in. Whatever was really happening, she wasn't going to get any answers just sitting here. At least there was a bit of good news to be had upon opening her trunk, although it wasn't all of her equipment simply having some of her armor and her sword back was reassuring in itself. To say nothing of Garm, a reminder that even here, even now she was still a soldier of Grado. A lance would have been nice too, but alas there was none to be seen here. All the same as soon as her equipment was in order, it was time to explore a little. Someone else from home had to be here somewhere... right? Perhaps in another room? It seemed excessive given the lack of danger at the moment, but even exploring the halls she'd keep her sword on her belt and Garm slung over a shoulder. Just having them would help keep her calm, she thought.
Perhaps one of her new roommates drops in while she's going over her equipment? Or maybe somebody runs into her as she's exploring the dorm hallways?]
Floor 01:
[Alright this was going nowhere fast. And honestly it had been long enough since she could recall having a decent meal that her distress at being unable to find her comrades wasn't going to stop her from craving a hot meal. And honestly the more she thought about it, the more a delicious hot meal seemed like it'd help calm her nerves somewhat. Yeah, that sounded good.
And it was not good. Now she found herself seated in the cafeteria with a bowl of oatmeal, her sword and axe placed for the moment upon the table as she poked at the oatmeal a few times before taking a single bite. Yep, not great. Not the worst thing she'd ever eaten but tasty it was not. And while she was too polite to complain about it openly the look on her face pretty much said it all. Honestly this seemed downright petty compared to everything earlier, but it was kind of like taking one extra kick in the ribs after losing a major battle. If nothing else this gave the young knight some time to think though, contemplate on what had happened and the potential fate of her world and her friends while gazing off at nothing in particular... and occasionally muse over all the ways this oatmeal could be so much better. Regardless, sooner or later she's going to have to start approaching people. Maybe somebody else knows more about this... and deep down just having a few people to talk to right about now would be nice. At least the tower seems fairly safe for the moment, if far larger than she first expected.
Not an illusion she's likely to have for long.]

Well Generals are pretty much Medieval Space Marines with less "FOR THE EMPEROR"...
It was a pretty crazy war, I had no idea half the stuff that happened was going to happen when I joined the army. Honestly I'm surprised I've come as far as I have... I just hope it wasn't for nothing.
[Which meant it was that much more likely this was no trick and therefore that much more likely her world was really gone. Maybe Cain knew more about this tower though, and it isn't like asking could hurt.]
You've probably been here a bit longer than I have... what is this place anyhow? I only woke up here a few hours ago and I'm still trying to figure out what happened.

But that beats me, really. I've only been here for a few weeks. You could ask a friend of mine. She's a... [Almost said Inquisitor but he's not that dumb] ...a journalist from where I'm from. She's probably got what you need to know.

That's a few weeks longer than I've been here anyways... what's her name? Anything she knows would be really appreciated, I heard someone mention this tower really isn't all that safe. Or at least not as safe as it sounds.

When it comes to the safety, as long as you're cautious, you should be fine.

[And at the cautious comment she nods. Young as she looks she did survive a war, and that's taught her plenty about staying alive in dangerous situations.]
Understood. If there's one good thing that came out of that war, it's that it taught me not to be so reckless.

Technically fighting against his reanimated corpse in the name of what he stood for in life counted as serving her Emperor, right?]
That's a very good point. I just hope what the note said about our worlds being destroyed wasn't true...

... every time I think this day can't get any weirder... [Typically Amelia's too polite to mumble something like that outloud, even if it is under her breath. But day has been immensely taxing. Time for a change of subject!] Do we know what's outside the tower at all?

I guess given the situation things could be worse... any idea what these collars are for by the way? I was out cold when they put it on. [At this she gave her own a couple of pokes, it didn't seem harmful or anything but she couldn't for the life of her figure out what it was actually for.]
