Summary: The admin elevator has been left open, its destination preprogrammed. Where is it going to take you?
Warnings: general horror warnings for now

The elevator doesn't announce itself when its doors slide open. There's no alarm, no message to be found about it. It sits open and waits for anyone curious enough to enter. There's a barrier on it that locks out anyone without a collar, and it isn't going to stay long, but aside from that there appears to be no security. There's nothing stopping someone--or multiple someones--from climbing into the elevator and going down.

Where's it going? Who knows.

Hub Area
A lounge area with sofas and chairs. It's large enough to hold the entire group, constructed similarly to the dorm rooms, and is connected to five doors.

[Dave is slightly used to seeing a Legolas around. He had spoken to one before at the very least. God he can't keep up if he's spoken to certain people or not.]

[It was during this Legolas' time here at least. His twin had only been here briefly, which was a shame. It could have been fun.]

Not at all. We haven't got them in Middle Earth and the book I found on them was not... comforting.

I'm gonna bite though. What book are you referring too? Not everything in the library are to be trusted. [Mostly because there's some weird fiction that exists in the modern world.] Not that the Administrator elevator being open should really comfort you.

It was a book about different machines, I wanted to be as familiar with the things here as I could be. It mentioned how elevators function and it mentioned that wires are used to move them up and down.

That's basically how they work, but I'm actually not sure how things really work in this place from time to time. Usually they're pretty safe, although the wire snapping cliche has probably made people think otherwise.

Not that this is probably safe considering this belongs to the administrators.

That's precisely the cliche I'm concerned about for that exact reason. I'm not exactly keen on dying but I rather it be quick than filled with the panic of a swift descent.

I really doubt that will happen since this is the admin elevator. No one usually even has access to it.
