Characters: Anyone (Animus and Destiny Strings)
Setting: All the levels, with the cafeteria, stairs and the dorms as the safe zones. You can find more about the event here. Remember the stages of insanity for the Animus characters!
Format: Any, start your open posts.
Summary: The tower appears to be overcome with a strange mist.
Warnings: general horror warnings for now
A strange, primordial scream. Perhaps something that didn't seem too out of place for this tower, yet there was something...off about it.
Then came a small series of rumblings. Something was stirring up in the tower. Thankfully the dorms seemed seemed fine. It was when you started to walk down that you realized something was wrong. There was dark mist everywhere. It wasn't natural. Even with a light, it was hard to see past the staircases into the levels, causing even more confusion. Thankfully, the stairs seemed to be safe and if you walked down the entire hundred levels, you'd notice that the cafeteria was safe too.
But that seemed to be it. Everywhere else, the mist was thick and seemed to hang on to the clothing and hair.
Then another noise rings out in every corridor, a laughter musical but somehow diabolical, not quite male nor female, asking a single question;
"Are you enjoying yourself?"
It looked like someone was wanting to play a little game with you.

He's over there as fast as his legs will carry him, yelling in the direction of the other voice - "He's over here!"
And then he's crouching down at Luke's side, trying to look his replica in the eye; Luke's been crying, obviously, curled up on himself as tightly as possible. Asch glares, pulling back his hand -
SLAP.
"Pull yourself together, you defect! I'm not going to just let you waste away here, so pull your head out of your ass and on your feet."
The tone is harsh; he's too frustrated to be anything else, especially with the faint mumblings of voices in his own ears. He can afford to be gentle once they're taken Luke out of here, by force if he has to, but right now, he doesn't know any other way to react.

"There's no time for yelling right now, for all we know he could deteriorate even more at this rate."
He said to the other male as he's finally within speaking distance of the two.

Please someone just let him die.

"As unresponsive as he is, we'll have to carry him out of here." He glances up and down Lelouch's frame - that kid's not built to carry anything, but it can't hurt to ask. "I don't suppose you can help?"
If not, then he'll just have to drag Luke out on his own. Already he's shuffling closer and adjusting himself to collect the weight of another body.

That should be answer enough, wouldn't it?
Skyla said to skip her so dat's what I'm doin'
And so he does, dipping one arm under Luke's knees and putting the other around his back - it's not worth the amount of effort to try and get his replica to uncurl enough to be carried any other way. Asch doesn't even know if Luke can feel it in his state of mind, but he tips the other redhead into his chest anyway. After a moment, he stands with a bit of a grunt.
"Let's get him back to his room. I'll need you to get the door."
As long as Luke doesn't start flailing in his arms, getting him to the elevator from here shouldn't be too much of a strain. It's a good thing they're going down the stairs and not up, though, because Asch doesn't really know how long his strength will hold out.

The response sounded sarcastic as he started on his way down; really, at this point he's a bit glad he didn't have to carry Luke at all considering all Luke's body would do would be breaking his back.
Quite literally at that.

He felt himself leaned up against something warm, and he stilled. Hunh... he... didn't deserve this. This kind of comfort was reserved for good people...
so late oh well I got brainstuck
The trip down to the elevator is as quick as he can make it without running - if Lelouch can't keep up with a short dude carrying another body, that's his own problem.
