Summary: The tower appears to be overcome with a strange mist.
Warnings: general horror warnings for now

A strange, primordial scream. Perhaps something that didn't seem too out of place for this tower, yet there was something...off about it.

Then came a small series of rumblings. Something was stirring up in the tower. Thankfully the dorms seemed seemed fine. It was when you started to walk down that you realized something was wrong. There was dark mist everywhere. It wasn't natural. Even with a light, it was hard to see past the staircases into the levels, causing even more confusion. Thankfully, the stairs seemed to be safe and if you walked down the entire hundred levels, you'd notice that the cafeteria was safe too.

But that seemed to be it. Everywhere else, the mist was thick and seemed to hang on to the clothing and hair.

Then another noise rings out in every corridor, a laughter musical but somehow diabolical, not quite male nor female, asking a single question;

"Are you enjoying yourself?"

It looked like someone was wanting to play a little game with you.

[He's not in his right mind, so dodging slips his mind. Wincing, he skids to a halt, but the tension in his posture and expression remain.]

That's funny. I didn't know Ansem had a twin...

[Nope, not buying it.]

He does not have one. I am chaos. Do you not remember the white-haired boy you sparred with some time ago?

Please, I don't even know what you're talking about!

[Maybe he's mistaking him for his replica. Maybe not. Even if he was, there has to be some ulterior motive, right?

...Ngh. He brings one hand to the top of his head, fingers digging into his hair. That's all it can be. It's a trick, a mind game!

Gnashing his teeth, he sends his Keyblade whirling through the air.]

[chaos would try to grab the keyblade it was flung at him.]

You do not remember a boy who used electricity in his punches?

[keybearer]

[And it was! Although, even if he did catch it, it'd return right back to its wielder.

Riku's eyes only narrow at his words.]

No. And I'm pretty sure I would, too...

[Still, he's not... talking like Ansem. It's a bit strange, actually.]

[Not that chaos would be surprised about that. In the back of his mind, he sighed.]

..I see. I shall try one last thing to jog your memory of a boy called chaos then.

[Turning to the side, chaos moved his hand in a circle before thrusting it forward. A nearby plant caught on fire and exploded.]

[keybearer]

[Nothing. He sees that explosion and immediately charges forward again with the intent to knock him down.

If he were in his right mind, he'd apologize profusely. As it is, he's confused, strained from the mist, and wants this headache to go away!]

[chaos would again send a beam of energy at Riku the moment he started charging. He sighed.]

..It looks like this mist is affecting you, my friend. Please..hurry and leave. I don't want unnecessary bloodshed.

[keybearer]

The mist?

[...Hah. Could mist really do that? Could it really screw with his head?

Either way, the energy blast knocks him back, and he retaliates by launching a flurry of fire his way.]

How do I know you're not lying?

[chaos let himself be lit on fire, but the blast didn't throw him back.]

Yes, the mist. And would your Ansem allow himself to be hurt like this?

[keybearer]

...No. He wouldn't.

[Riku sighs, gritting his teeth and sneering. Yet despite his expression, he comes to a halt, lowering his weapon for the time being.]

[lightofhumanity]

[chaos nodded, and used his powers to freeze the air around himself, and deprived the flames of their oxygen so that they died. He then melted the ice.]

Exactly. We had both better get out then. You need to rest away from the mist.

[keybearer]

Fine... My head's killing me anyway.

[He grumbles, fighting back the urge to attack again. Five hours in the mist will do that.]

[chaos nodded and started to walk out, looking back occasionally to see if Riku was following him.]

I am sorry to hear that. However..it will pass. Just rest on the stairs for awhile and you shall be fine.

How long is a while?

[Huff. Either way, he'll... slowly trudge his way to the stairs, for better or worse.]

Stay on the stairs for as long as you've been on the stairs. You should be fine then.

[chaos spoke as he kept walking towards the stairs, happy that Riku was following him.]
