Summary: Followup to this post. John managed to catch the soul extraction process on tape. Not wanting to expose himself any more than necessary, he avoided sharing it on the network and instead put note in everyone's mailbox. Now he's waiting to see if anybody responds.
Warnings: Probably just language

[Just as his note detailed, John can be found in the middle of the meadow floor between 1pm and 4pm on March 1st-3rd.]

[Not wanting to waste any time, he decides to train his Litwick and Zorua while waiting for people to show up by pitting them against one another in a play-battle. Yeah...experience gainage will be a slow process this way. He'll have to go monster hunting later. His Dusknoir floats at his side, arms crossed over his chest as he watches over the fight.]

[Now hopefully anybody who's here about the tape will be able to recognize him based on the dumb little doodle on his note...]

Yup! That's me! [The resemblance to the doodle is uncanny, isn't it? He hands his Pokegear to Mello, the video paused and queued up to go.]

Just tap the screen. It runs a little longer than it needs to though, I kind of left it running longer than I should have. When we start chasing after the worker unit you can turn it off.

ack, really sorry for the lateness - Dark World stuff has been monopolizing my time x_x

[Mello cautiously approaches John. He tugs his leather glove off with his teeth and stuffs it in his pocket, then takes the device from him.]

Gotcha.

[He tilts his head down and taps the screen with his thumb, letting the video play.

Mello clamps his lips down over his chocolate as he watches, but even the over-saturated sweetness of his candy can't take the bitter taste out of his mouth when he sees the soul extraction take place. His heart sinks in his chest the longer the video goes on.

So it's true, then? They're really just souls, trapped in recycled bodies somehow? He hates to even consider it, but the evidence is staring him in the face. He doesn't stop the video when John and the others start to run, just lets it play through.

He's silent for a few moments after it stops. Without giving any indication of what he's feeling, he taps on the screen, attempting to play it over again.]

it's okay! i figured that was the case, it's totally understandable. :)

[And with that second tap, the tape starts right over again from the beginning. Thank goodness for simple interfaces, am I right? John, who had distracted himself by playing with his Litwick, eventually realizes that the tape has been playing for a little too long and turns back to Mello.]
