7th pokeball
Characters: John Egbert and YOU
Setting: Meadow floor; March 1-3
Format: either
Summary: Followup to this post. John managed to catch the soul extraction process on tape. Not wanting to expose himself any more than necessary, he avoided sharing it on the network and instead put note in everyone's mailbox. Now he's waiting to see if anybody responds.
Warnings: Probably just language
[Just as his note detailed, John can be found in the middle of the meadow floor between 1pm and 4pm on March 1st-3rd.]
[Not wanting to waste any time, he decides to train his Litwick and Zorua while waiting for people to show up by pitting them against one another in a play-battle. Yeah...experience gainage will be a slow process this way. He'll have to go monster hunting later. His Dusknoir floats at his side, arms crossed over his chest as he watches over the fight.]
[Now hopefully anybody who's here about the tape will be able to recognize him based on the dumb little doodle on his note...]

"Just tap the screen to play. But as a head's up, once we start chasing after the worker unit, you can turn it off. I left it running in case we came across something else important but we found Jason instead. So there's not really anything useful at the end."

"Thank you." He took the device with a tiny smile and tapped the screen, watching...

It's been a while since Shion has felt the swirling darkness of utter despair, of the world making no sense at all, of everything he knew being wrong.
He hadn't missed that feeling. His hand came up to grip the metal badge he worse pinned to his clothes and he took a few deep breaths. So this was it... the process Jason had spoken about the last few times he had died. The process that Jason didn't even understand completely.
He turned the video off and handed it back, concentrating on making his hands not shake. "Thank you..."

"It's no problem. I'm glad I could help."

John has never really been the best with praise. When you receive it on a near-constant basis from your dad, sometimes it can be a little hard feeling like your actions are really worth it. "If you have any other questions about what happened down there or anything, I can try my best to answer. I hardly know everything but I did at least learn a few things while down there."

"Did you see how Jason put the souls back into the bodies?" He had always been back in his body by the time he had woken and Jason had spoken to him, he thought there was more to it than just replacing the soul because Jason seemed to be doing quite a bit of work.

"Sorry man. I wish I knew more than that."
