Summary: Followup to this post. John managed to catch the soul extraction process on tape. Not wanting to expose himself any more than necessary, he avoided sharing it on the network and instead put note in everyone's mailbox. Now he's waiting to see if anybody responds.
Warnings: Probably just language

[Just as his note detailed, John can be found in the middle of the meadow floor between 1pm and 4pm on March 1st-3rd.]

[Not wanting to waste any time, he decides to train his Litwick and Zorua while waiting for people to show up by pitting them against one another in a play-battle. Yeah...experience gainage will be a slow process this way. He'll have to go monster hunting later. His Dusknoir floats at his side, arms crossed over his chest as he watches over the fight.]

[Now hopefully anybody who's here about the tape will be able to recognize him based on the dumb little doodle on his note...]

[John's seated on the ground when Perona arrives, playing a game on his Pokegear and generally not paying attention. Luckily, though, Michael J. is paying a little more attention. The Zorua yaps at the girl as she approaches, drawing John's attention from the screen.]

Oh! [He pauses his game, getting to his feet.] Sup, Princess?

[lolighostgirl]

Now that the tower is quiet again, it's boring Mr. Ghost. [Then she sees that Zorua and hears it. Perona's tone raises to a childish.] This one is so cute!!

[ghostytrainer]

[The Zorua yaps happily, wagging his tail. Yes. Yes he is very cute so you should pay attention to him. John chuckles, patting the little fox's head.]

Isn't he? This is Michael J. he's a Zorua. Be careful what you wish for, though. Quiet is kind of a good thing around here. [At least...he thinks.]

[lolighostgirl]

[Darnit, she let her loath to cuteness take over. She wants to pet him.....]

Well, whatever they decide to do it won't hurt me. I'm a spirit girl. [Which she will keep telling herself cause sticks and stones won't hurt her.] I came here anyway cause you sent a letter.

[Michael J. would certainly not complain if she decided to pet him. For now though, he's just going to sit down and stare up at the two humans.]

Mmmm...hopefully. [If she's immune to being hurt, that'd be great but John can't help but feel as though even the Princess of Ghosts isn't immune to the sort of things this tower can dish out.] Ah yes, I did! I don't know if you saw the two broadcasts the other day but it's uh...about that. The soul-extraction thing. Last week, a bunch of us managed to sneak into the admin levels and we saw the whole thing. [He pulls his Pokegear out of his fanny pack, messing with it momentarily before holding it out to Perona.]

I managed to catch the whole thing on tape.

I'm surprised, even I can't pass through some walls. Still, I suppose it's very noble. [And Perona quietly watches. Her calm composer slowly turns to a terrifying one.]

[ghostytrainer]

[And John watches her silently, waiting for her to finish the tape before saying anything.]

It...yeah.

[It's really hard to be sure what to say in this sort of situation. Just...yeah. This is a thing. A thing they're all going to have to deal with.]

[lolighostgirl]

[Oh mai god. Oh mai god. Just terrified and looking at herself.]

So that's.... [Why the woman posted what they do? Yep.]

They haven't saved us from anything!

[ghostytrainer]

[John sighs.]

I can't say I disagree.

Though, honestly it's not the whole soul thing that makes that true. It's more what they have done to us after the fact. Sure, we're alive to a degree but...

[lolighostgirl]

[Sob, this means she's trap for good here. Excuse her as she tries so hard not to cry about this. It's disgusting and a disgrace!]

How can you stay so calm after that?! Our soul is right in their hands!

[Sorry John, she's not helping.]

Oh, trust me..."calm" is not something that I was when I first saw this. Or even for a few days after. Hell, honestly even now I'm...well I wouldn't say I am as panicked as I was but I don't know that I would say I am entirely chill about it either. And I've had a week to deal with this.

[His face sets with a kind of determination.]

But if I can't at least try to be calm, how can I even think of showing this to anybody? Somebody has to, and since this is your first time seeing it, you have every right to be disturbed, scared, angry, or whatever emotional state you feel like being in over this. It's okay for you to lose your head a little. But if I do too, then how does that help anybody?
