Summary: Followup to this post. John managed to catch the soul extraction process on tape. Not wanting to expose himself any more than necessary, he avoided sharing it on the network and instead put note in everyone's mailbox. Now he's waiting to see if anybody responds.
Warnings: Probably just language

[Just as his note detailed, John can be found in the middle of the meadow floor between 1pm and 4pm on March 1st-3rd.]

[Not wanting to waste any time, he decides to train his Litwick and Zorua while waiting for people to show up by pitting them against one another in a play-battle. Yeah...experience gainage will be a slow process this way. He'll have to go monster hunting later. His Dusknoir floats at his side, arms crossed over his chest as he watches over the fight.]

[Now hopefully anybody who's here about the tape will be able to recognize him based on the dumb little doodle on his note...]

[England squints, tilting his head marginally at John's reaction. It takes a moment for him to make the connection. Zelda had seen him down in Ruana's library, she'd said. And this John boy had been down there too, judging from the fact that he had managed to catch the soul recycling process on film.

He had never thought once that Zelda may have been lying to him, but even so, this is an unpleasant affirmation of her words.

His expression hardens.] Arthur, actually. [He is glaring. Apparently he doesn't take kindly to John's reaction.] And I'll have you know that it is rude to stare, and even ruder to point, if you don't mind.

[He's uncomfortable enough about the drugged work thing without being ogled at like some kind of zoo animal or some such.]

[With a sheepish look, he immediately stops pointing and closes his mouth.]

Sorry! Just...I dunno you surprised me a little bit. [After all, he was basically a zombie the last time John saw him, can you really blame him?] And when they told me your name I kind of had a lot on my mind. Arthur, got it! I won't forget.

[keepscalm]

[England lets out a huff and turns his face away. There may be a note of regret in the action (he didn't really need to be so harsh, he just has quite a bit on his mind too), but he's too proud to apologise.]

...so I take it you're John Egbert?

[The sharpness is dialed back, though his voice is tense in a way that suggests he's trying to be polite.

He is really not doing well with first impressions lately.]

[John nods, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose a little. He seems a bit glad that Arthur has dialed back the bite, though he still feels a bit sheepish about the whole thing. He should have known better, jeez!]

Yeah, that's me. So I take it that means you're here about this. [He holds up his Pokégear.] Or rather...the note about this but...semantics. Hold on. [He flips it open, messing with the screen for a moment before offering it to Arthur.]

Tap the screen to play. Tap it again to stop once it gets to the part where we start chasing after the worker unit. I left the video rolling a little too long, unfortunately.

Indeed. [He's assuming the "this" is the thing that will play the video referred to in the note. He has absolutely no idea what the thing is, but, what else could it be?

The look on his face is unsure at best as he reaches out to gingerly take the Pokégear. It's obvious from the look on his face and the gentle way he handles it that this is not the man you would go to for technological matters.]

[Once he has it in his hands, he taps the screen and proceeds to watch the video.]

No prob. [While Arthur watches, John snaps his fingers to call his Zorua and Litwick back to his side, allowing the candle to settle herself on his shoulder and sort of petting her with the side of his finger.]
