[Dark World Event] || [Infiltration Plot] || [Closed] || [3/3]
Characters: The characters who got recruited to hack the elevator or infiltrate the administrative floors. Look at the tags.
Setting: The Cafeteria-- Then the Elevator and the Administrative Floors.
Format: Action most likely.
Summary: Ganondorf's true plan begins. While the annoying administrators and the heroic heroes are busy dealing with the "Dark World" controlled by Richtofen, Ganondorf and Repliku, Naoya has freedom to hack into the Elevator System and the Team led by Nesir can then use it to infiltrate the lower floors undetected. They will then divide into two teams to cover as much field as possible. Quite obviously this won't end so well.
The official purpose of the mission is to find the Control Room of the tower and the Exit Door mentioned by Ruana long ago, with the ultimate objective being to take over the control room. The truth is that it's a suicide mission with as only purpose to gather intel on the truth and how to take over the tower's control systems.
Warnings: Nearly all characters here are deeply anchored into the Dark Side-- Probably only Ryoji isn't. And the odds to meet one of the administrators while in the lower floors are pretty high, so all the warnings?
Contacted Characters
All characters meant to come will have somehow been contacted and told to come- By either Ganondorf, Naoya, Sephiroth or Nesir. Indeed, each of them will either have been directly contacted in person or will have received a mail in their mailbox (or in their dorm if they have no mailbox just yet).
The transmitted message pretty simple, to come down to the Cafeteria floor, March 5th before mid-day if they have enough of the tower and want to take things in hand personally. There are no particular instructions, except that they must not fear death or the administrators if they decide to the Cafeteria. And obviously, utmost secrecy has to be kept.

We're definitely being watched then? Or is it simply a trick...
[In any case, he knew better than to underestimate an opponent. He could gloat after he had obliterated them. He'd be on guard.]

The footsteps cease, but there is the distinct sound of breathing. It is impossible to tell what direction it's coming from; it almost sounds like the hallway itself is breathing.]

(hopping in here before I have to sleep)
[Sephiroth answers Veigar before the lights flickered. His gaze drawn upwards, suspicious until the lights stabilize again, though noted now - by the flickering, that everything has grown significantly darker as they have carried on. His grip around Masamune's hilt tightens as the breathing sound from all around starts up, heavily resisting the urge to look around to try and locate the source.
It feels to him like this is all just trying to wind them up but who is to say? He simply shakes his head silently at Nesir's inquiry about a light source. No magic here.]

At Nessir's inquiry, Veigar flexed his grip on his Black Torch and it came to life. Even though the flame was pitch black, it emanated an eerie glow that allowed them to see better in darkness, without attracting too much attention to them.]
Thread carefully...

They're just trying to psych us out. Don't let it get to you.

The lights flicker down briefly. When they come back up, a black sludge coats the floor and splatters the walls. This lasts only a second. The hallway appears clean with the next flicker of the lights.
The sound of breathing is still steady.]

The soggy sounds in the last few foot falls, upon a quick inspection of the floor convinced Sephiroth of the obvious illusion trick going on. He had turned his senses up a touch in the meantime as the need to try and determine reality became more apparent but then lights flicked again. For just the blink of an eye, as his sight adjusted there was black sludge, then clean again in another flick.]
I wonder, what is the illusion.

[Veigar huffed and continued on with the group, illuminating the way.]
I say we deal with what comes when it comes. Stay alert but don't lose focus of what we're here to do.

[Mello's looking straight ahead. He refuses to even acknowledge the strange things that are happening around them. The less time they waste trying to figure out what the purpose of the illusions is, the better.]

He'll keep his senses as sharp as the blade he's holding as they continue down the Hallway. Being drawn into an illusion, anywhere in the Tower is only opening yourself up for trouble.]
