(no subject)

Characters: Legolas, Haldir, Gandalf
Setting:
Backdated to after Something Unexpected...
Format:
Either.
Summary:
Legolas returns from the admin levels with his arm bloodied and useless so he asks Gandalf and Haldir to kill him.
Warnings: Character death.

Legolas waited in the elevator until it reached his dorm floor, cloak hanging over his bad arm and carefully wrapped around the injury to prevent blood from dripping onto the floor. Already the forest colored fabric was stained red though, his arm hanging uselessly at his side. He wasn't sure if he was in shock or if his nerves had been damaged but he could barely feel his arm anymore. If only his companions hadn't been so careless when they had entered Riki's room, this might not have happened. That he'd even managed to survive was a miracle. Not that the miracle would last very long.

Haldir. Get Gandalf.

He called out to his companion with his mind as he pushed open the door to his room. Thanking whoever could hear his prayers, he went further inside and collapsed onto his bed, hissing as pain suddenly filled his senses. That answered whether he was in shock or not.

Gandalf sighed and shook his head, but pursued his way behind the marchwarden without another word. His spirit faded. Again, such a terrible event had happened many times to the eleven prince already. But as he deduced earlier, this time was probably not because of his own recklessness. There was nothing he could do until he would see the elf by himself.

When Haldir entered the chamber, Gandalf followed him at a steady pace but was probably notable calmer than Haldir. Once again spoke no words, his face grave. By now he had a pretty good idea of what to expect and nothing he could say would make the situation better for now.

Haldir's heart sank when he saw Legolas. Blood dripped down the elf's mangled arm and onto the fabric of his tunic. He looked pale due to the loss of blood and somewhat gaunt. Without a word said, Haldir raced to Legolas's side to examine the wound. It was dire. Haldir could almost see the very bone within his arm. Something or someone butchered Legolas almost to the point that the very flesh of his arm had been carved off. The wound itself was far too ghastly to describe, but Haldir didn't blink an eye. If he allowed his emotions to claim him now, then Legolas's life would surely be lost.

"Don't try to humor me." Haldir grumbled in prime annoyance. "You grow paler by the minute." Trying to see if he could stop the bleeding by securing a cloth around the upper part of the elf's arm, Haldir then turned to Gandalf for aid.

"He'll perish." The marchwarden said as he tried to clean the wound with an homemade tonic he uses. "That is if we do not act quickly." He still had blind hope that Legolas would live.

Gandalf said no words, however the odds of saving Legolas were low and at this point he was pretty certain the prince himself didn't want to survive this wound-- Would he survive by miracle? He would be be suffering from grievous wounds, a thing one couldn't survive with in this tower. He sighed, all they could do at this point was ease his passing.

When Haldir spoke, the white wizard slowly put a hand on his shoulder and shook his head.

"We will act quickly--" he then turned "Legolas. Is this what you desire?"
